Chapter 5

Aayla's POV
I pace around my quarters nervously, all I could think about was (Y/N), was he alright? I hear a knock on the door

Aayla: Come in

Bly walks in

Bly: General (L/N) is stabilized, thought you might want to know, they just brought him to his quarters

Aayla: I'm going to tell him

Bly: Good luck

I quickly walk to his quarters and knock on his door

(Y/N): Come in

I walk into the room and see (Y/N) all bandaged up and looking like hell, he smiles at me

(Y/N): Hey

Aayla: What happened? How did you get like.. this?

(Y/N): Grievous got some good shots off me, then a commando droid shot me in the leg

Aayla: You could've died!

(Y/N): Eh, I've taken tougher punishment

Aayla: That's not the point! You were bleeding out!

(Y/N): Aren't you just as reckless?

Aayla: No! I watch out for my safety! I maybe a bit reckless at times but I don't go and almost get myself killed! When we found you, we weren't sure if you were even breathing!

(Y/N): I'm glad you found me though

He flashes another smile at me, I frown

(Y/N): Something wrong?

Aayla: You almost died! Even the medics were shocked when they found you! You need to be more careful next time! I don't know what I would do if I..

I couldn't finish my sentence, a huge blush appears on my face

(Y/N): I know you're worried Aayla, but you don't have to worry, I'm fine

Aayla: I worry because I..

(Y/N) raises an eyebrow

(Y/N): Aayla?

I can't hold it in anymore, I close my eyes and smash my lips against his, I can tell he is caught off guard, but instead of pushing me off, he actually melts into the kiss, once we break, my face is a completely different color, I look away in embarrassment, (Y/N) puts a hand on my chin and gently lifts my head to look at him, he was smiling

(Y/N): I love you too

We kiss again, this time it's more passionate, when we break all I could do was smile

(Y/N): There's that smile I love so much

Aayla: What would the order think?

(Y/N): Forget the rules!

Aayla: We'll have to keep this a secret

(Y/N): I've always been known as a rule breaker

I smile

Aayla: Come on, let's get you in bed before you almost kill yourself again

(Y/N): At least I have somebody to cuddle now

I playfully roll my eyes and I peck his cheek and pull him to his bed
