The Devil Girl

Maddy's P.O.V

"Hey Price get over here!" Coach Parker screamed.

"Yes sir." I said running over to him. 

"You have to work on your passing you seem to always pass it to the wrong team." he said

"Yes sir." I said again.

"Now sit out." He boomed.

"Yes sir." I said walking over to the bench.

I can't believe it I have to sit out of the biggest game this school played this year. He knows I love basket ball I can't believe he would take me out. I looked out into the stands and saw this girl. She sat alone and had a sketch book in her lap she was wearing a dark hood with knee high boots and black pants. I watched as I saw the pencil fly across the page. She was mesmerizing she looked up I quickly turned away. I hope she didn't see me.

"Hey Price your back in the game." Coach said.

I smiled "Alright." 

I ran into the game. 

"And remember to pass the ball to the correct person." 

"Yes sir." I called and ran to the ball.

The game came to a end and the team came off discouraged our team lost 14 to 15 one point off. I looked at the girl in the hood she was no where in sight. She must have left during the game. I sighed and picked up my water bottle.

"Hey Maddy you were awesome out there." My boyfriend Peter said

i smiled "thanks but we lost."

"You win some you lose some big deal." he said and planted a kiss on the lips.

"You need to get to football practice now if you hurry you won't be late." I pushed him gently.

"Just one more kiss." He pouted I smiled and we kissed.

He walked to the doors and waved at me I waved back and he was gone.

I walked towards the locker room to take a shower and change into some clean clothes. I turned the corner and ran into someone.

"I'm so sor-" I stopped it was the hooded girl.

"It's fine." she mumbled and quickly left.

"Wait you left your-" I shouted after her but she was long gone.

I held her sketch book in my hand. What was I suppose to do in a situation like this? It's never happened to me before.

I went into the locker room anyway book in hand.

"What you got there?" Mindy asked.

"A sketch book that this girl dropped." I answered

"Did she wear a hood and wore all black?" she asked.

"How did you know?" I asked

"Oh this is not good you just picked up the book of the devil." she said

"Seriously you think she is the devil?" I asked

"Yes you would think so too if you talk to her. She sounds like what the devil would sound like."  she said

"And how would that sound like?" I asked

"Blunt answers and quiet voice." she said

I laughed "That sounds like every shy girl out there." 

"Don't joke about this it's not funny. She really is the devil or at least a demon." she pouted. "Please trust me avoid her or she will ruin your life like she did mine." 

"How did she ruin your life?" I asked

"I talked to her and right after my boyfriend broke up with me." 

"Yea but he was a dickhead. You should thank her." I said

"That's not the point." She said "the point is she causes problems where ever she goes."

"Ok you think that she is the devil cause she broke up your rocky relationship?" I asked

"Your not taking this seriously are you?" she said

"Nope but that's ok I think that it will be fine." I smiled "anyway I have to return this book to her later it's not like i'm asking you to come or anything."

"Ok but it's your own funeral." she shrugged 

I took a shower and changed. I looked at the book again and opened it out of curiosity. There were very detailed pictures of people. I kept flipping through it till I reached the last page she drew on. It was one of me sitting on the bench waiting to get in. I smiled it looked awesome. I stood up and walked out of the locker room and saw the hooded girl looking around the area that we crashed into each other on  her hands and feet. I smiled and walked up to her.

"You looking for something?" I asked her with her book behind my back.

She looked up at me but said nothing and continued searching.

"Is it perhaps this?" I asked extending the book to her.

She looked at it and nodded grabbing the book.

"So people call you the devil." I said

She nodded.

"And how does that make you feel?" i asked

she shrugged i smiled and saw Peter walking up to me.

"My name is Maddy what is yours?" I asked

"Lucinda." She said

"Well Lucinda I got to go see ya around." I smiled and ran to Peter.

She nodded and walked away. 

"Lucinda huh." I whispered
