Maddy's P.O.V

'I really did kill my mother'

The words rang through my head. What did she mean? What did she do? 

They put her back on the hospitable bed and left. 

"Were going to her house to expect to see if there is some solid evidence that she's been abused for a while my guess is there is. Even if there's not we still witnessed him hitting his daughter and that can put him away for a long time." The female cop said. I nodded.

She sighed and left. Soon it was just me and Lucinda in the room. She slowly woke up and looked at me.

"Maddy?" She asked

"Yes it's me what is it?" I asked

She shrugged I knew she had something to say but for some reason she wasn't saying it.

Finally she asked "When can I leave?"

"After your in proper condition." I said

"What happened when I was here?" She asked

"You kissed me." I whispered

"What?" She asked sitting up. "Really."

"Yes now lay down." I said

She looked at me but obeyed.

"Probably the drugs." I said

She looked at me again.

"Was it not?" I asked

She didn't say anything but grabbed the side of my head and pulled me down to her and kissed me again.

"That's not because of the drugs." She said "I really like you and I understand if you don't feel the same way-"

i shut her up by kissing her.

"I like you too." I said and smiled.

"What about Peter?" She asked

"Yea what about me?" A voice said in the distance.

I spun around. Peter stood in the door way.

"I thought that beating up her would do it's job but of course you have to fall for her and forget me." He said

I stared at him "Your the one who did this?" 

"Yes and we did a good job too. I heard she forgot everything for a little bit." He smiled

"That's it where over!" I shouted

"Oh I wouldn't do that if I were you I'd end up beating her up till she's a regular in this hospitable. " He smiled

I was shocked how could he do this to me?

I felt Lucinda grab my hand as she whispered "It's ok i'm used to it."

"I can't do this to you." I whispered back she sat up and pulled me into a hug.

"You'll never have her." She said.

"So your going to fight back?" He asked

"Yes." She said.

"This is going to be fun." He said running at her.

"Doctor! Doctor! Come quick!" I shouted the doctor ran in with the female cop as they watched Peter punched Lucinda till she blacked out. The monitor beeped. The doctor hurried to Lucinda while the cop grabbed Peter. 

"It's fine I edged him on." I heard a small voice say.

I looked at her.

"I stole his girlfriend and told him i'd fight back and I will so let him go." Lucinda said getting off of the bed.
