Me and Bucky are walking down the street joking around talking until we hear of course Steve getting beaten up in the alley like always its everyday that we are helping Steve. Me and Bucky stare at each other for a min before running down the alley

"Hey! Pick on someone your own size." Says Bucky as he punches the jerk then he tosses him to me and I beat him up more before he runs away.

"Sometimes I think you like getting punch." I say Steve as Bucky helps him off the ground

"I Had him on the ropes." He says and I laugh

"What ever helps you sleep at night." I say

"How many times is this?" Bucky ask holding up the enlistment form I look at it and read it of course he isn't allowed on the war field

"Oh, you're from Paramus now? You know its illegal to lie on the enlistment form." Says Bucky

"Seriously, Jersey." I add

"You get your orders?" Steve ask

"The one-o-seventh. Sergeant James Barnes. Shipping out for England first thing tomorrow." Says Bucky

"I should be going" Says Steve but I stop

"Come on, man. its his last night. We need to get you cleaned up." I say

"Where are we going?" He ask and Bucky gives him the Newspaper

"I don't see what the problem is. You're about the last eligible man in New York. You know, there's three and a half million women here." Says Bucky

"Eh I rather stay with Lydia today" He says and I smile

"Your lost" Bucky says and goes to the girls I roll my eyes and see a guy comes on stage

"Ladies and gentlemen, what if I told you that in just a few short years, your automobile won't even touch the ground at all" The guy says and a girl shows an example

"Come on. You're kind of missing the point of a double date. You and Lyd are going to dance" Bucky says

"You go ahead. I'll catch up" He says

"You're really gonna do this again" I ask

"Well, it's a fair. I'm gonna try my luck" Steve says

"As Who? Steve from Ohio? They'll catch you, or worse they'll actually take you" Says Bucky

"Look, I know you think I can't do this" Steve says

"This isn't the back alley, Steve, This is war" I say

"Why are you so keen to fight? There is so many important jobs." Says Bucky

"What am I gonna do? Collect Scrap Metal?" Steve says

"Yes!" Me and Bucky say

"I'm not gonna sit in a factory, Come on guys! There are men laying down their lives.I got no right to do any less than them. That's what you don't understand. This isn't about me " He says

"Hey are we going dancing" I hear the girl behind me and Bucky turns around

"Yes, we are." He turns to Steve "Don't do anything stupid until i get back" He says

"How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you." Steve says He hugs Bucky and then Bucky turns to me and Hugs me

"Don't win the war till I get there!" says Steve as Bucky walks away

Me and Steve are in the examination room. I'm just there supporting Steve waiting for the declined when a nurse whispers into the doctors ear
