Trying to save the world

I breathe in trying to release some anger I keep seeing memories from being pulled out of the ice a year ago I hit the bag again  until I got so mad that I used my powers to just tear it up. Once I calmed down. I sigh thinking I need to replace Steve's bag I put on another one until I feel someone's presence behind me

"You know it's not nice to sneak up on me" I say and I turn around to see Steve and Fury standing there.

"Trouble sleeping?" Ask fury

" We slept for seventy years, sir. I think we had our fill" says Steve and I walk over to the seat

" You here with a mission, sir?" I ask and fury nods

" I am" he says

"Trying to get us back out into the world?" Ask Steve

"Trying to save it." Says fury while handing me a file I skim through it quickly not really caring for what is inside. I stand up

"Ok... when do we start" I say and I walk away while the boys are still talking

Me and Steve waiting on a platform until this person comes up to us we sit down and they hand us a tablet apparently this guy name Bruce is suppose to help us with the tesseract. Ok maybe I went home and studied about it.

"So, this Doctor Banner was trying to replicate the serum that was used on me?" Ask Steve

"Why don't they figure out mine" I ask

"A lot of people were. You were the world's first superhero. Banner thought gamma radiation might hold the key to unlocking Erskine's original formula. And Lydia's formula was never found." The person says and I nod

"I gotta say, it's an honor to meet you, officially." The guy says to Steve ouch what am I chopped liver?

"I sort of met you, I mean, I watched you while you were sleeping. I mean, I was... I was present while
you were unconscious from the ice. You know, it's really, it's just a... just a huge honor to have you on board." He babbles on seriously who is he I snorted for him just talking and Steve glares at me I roll my eyes and walk away

"Agent Romanoff. Captain Rogers." I hear Coulson say yes I learned his name finally. I walk over there as they are talking

"And this is Lydia" says Phil I nod at Romanoff. Phil was pulled away by something

"There was quite the buzz around here, finding you two in the ice. I thought Coulson was gonna swoon. Did he ask you to sign his Captain America trading cards yet?" Ask Romanoff  says to Steve I look confused

"Trading cards" I ask

"They are vintage" she says now I'm even more confused. We see a guy that looks like he is in his 50's we walks over to us

"Dr. Banner." Steve says as he shakes his hand Banner looks nervous

"Oh, yeah, hi. They told me you'd becoming" Banner says and I cross my arms

"Word is you can find the Cube?" I ask him and he glances over to me

"Is that the only word on me?" He says

"Only word that she and I cares about" says Steve. we chat for a little and then Romanoff walks over to us.

"you might wanna stepinside in a minute. It's gonna geta little had to breathe." She says

"Is this a submarine?" I say

"Really, they want me in a submergedpressurized metal container?" Banner ask and I snorted. Steve walks over to me. the carrier begins to lift intothe air. I loose my balance for a minute and then Steve catches me before I fall. I look at him and smile.

"Woah, she smiles" Romanoff says and I glare at her. We all follow Romanoff into the bridge. We look around at the place taking in as much as we can. Fury walks over to us.

"Thank you for coming." He says to us. I nod at him.

" So, uh... how long am I staying?" Ask Bruce

"Well I got nothing better to do with my life so I'm fine for how ever" I say sitting down at a long table

"Once we get our hands on the Tesseract" says Fury. I look at Steve who is still standing and I give him a look to sit down cause it's going to be a long time. I zoned out for a while as fury and Bruce talk. Another agent walks in and whispers into fury's ear. Fury looks at me then nods to the agent. Fury clears his foot

"Lydia I need to go with agent Johnson" he says and I look at him funny, but I stand up and go with him. After walking for a little bit we get into this lab where a doctor is standing there

"Hello Lydia my name is doctor smith and I will be doing some test on you" he says pulling out a needle. Have I told you that I hate needles before.

After testing I went to the room they put me in while on this place I laid on my bed until I heard a knock on my door. I opened it up to see Steve standing there

"Hey is everything ok" he says before I could answer him

"Yeah everything is fine they just wanted some of my blood to test" I say letting him inside

"But your ok right" he ask and I nod smiling

"Do you want to talk about what happen before we went into the ice" he ask and I look at him

"I mean what do you want to say about it" I ask

"I just want you to know that I really mean everything that I said" he says grabbing my hand I feel my checks get read but I keep my composer

" think that after we do whatever is going on here we can actually go on a date" I say and he nods. We both lean in until there a knock on the door I open it up to see Natasha.

"Sorry for interrupting but we have a mission to go on" she says and I look at Steve and smile

"Let's go save the world" I say as we walk out of the room.
