A/N I just wanted to let you know it's the first few days of school, so clubs are still joinable, and Betty was in newspaper already because of last year. Also sorry this is so late, I've been taking the Mercury retrograde pretty rough, and it was birthday, and I got a bug bite on my leg the size of an actual baseball...

3rd person Morgan pov
As they sat on the bus, talking Morgan found out one key thing about Betty, she loved musicals. They sang Newsies the whole way and some of the other musicals Betty had stayed up all night listening to, like Hamilton, Wicked, Heathers, Dear Evan Hansen, and Be more chill. They bonded over the fact they loved musicals, and vowed to join theater this year.  When they got to school they realized they had no classes together which meant this is where they parted, until theater.
—————————————————————————Morgan looked at her note and back at the door, this was the theater, but she wasn't sure on weather to go in. As she debated with herself she thought of Betty sitting inside waiting for her. Morgan knew she couldn't pass up seeing Betty. She had met her once and was already madly in love with her. She didn't even know if Betty was straight, but it didn't matter, so she pushed open the doors. Betty was patiently waiting for her, and Morgan rushed over and threw herself into the seat next to Betty. "Hey, what's up," Morgan asked. "Oh, just listening to biggie," Betty said. "Who's biggie," Morgan asked. A look of sheer terror was evident on Betty's face. "You're surely joking," Betty yelled. Morgan grimaced and shook her head. "What about 2pac, or Kendrick Lamar, or J. Cole, you've ought to know someone," Betty said horrified. Morgan thought, and she had it. "I love Eminem," Morgan said excitedly. Betty whipped out her phone and made a Spotify playlist, and shoved her earbud into Morgan's ears. Morgan instantly loved the music. "Now I get your reference! This morning you said 'any cutie with a bootie," Morgan said proudly. Just like that the lights were off and the seniors were performing. Betty reached over and grabbed Morgan's hand, and Morgan melted. After the currant fell, Betty whispered to Morgan "The lead role was hot af, I'd tap that," she giggled. Suddenly all the happiness that Morgan had felt was the only thing melting.
