Caydes POV

(Y/N) and I talked for hours!! It was like the whole incident with Trent never happened! Well at least until after we finished breakfast...
"hey it's seems like u know Trent. What's that about?" She asked as we paid and left the shop. " I-errr well.... I bumped into him when I went to ur place...." I chuckled rubbing the back of my neck as we strolled along the pathway. " He Umm wasn't the friendliest... kept asking about u, and well." I could see she was distracted, her ghost was mumbling in her ear. " So I set fire to him and threw him into the pits of hell.." I said sarcastically, she turned her head her ghost now vanishing " U what?" " sorry I just, do u want to meet later or?" She looked confused and then sorrowful. She gave me a weak smile... " Sorry it's just Umm..." " What? What's wrong?" I tilted (Y/N) head so she looked me in the eye before- " (Y/N) where r u? Ur ship is ready to go and set for Venus! Waiting for ur command!" A voice rang through her armor before I realized what was happening... " UR GOING TO VENUS!?" I screamed a little too loudly, passerby's turned their heads she put her arms around my neck. " look Cayde this is way I didn't want to tell u! I knew u would freak out!" She unhoocked her arms from me and gave me a smile, " OF COURSE I WOULD FREAK OUT! Ur- ur going back out there? AFTER WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME?!" At this point I think I was scaring myself, her smile vanished turning into a rather unpleasant frown. " Why is this so important to u? Ur a Vanguard u have everything! Friends, goods, women!" " BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT U!" Her fists loosened as her beautiful eyes sparkled, " I can't bare another time when I have to see u hurt like that again- I can't-" she cupped her hands around my face giving me a loving smile. " Cayde-6, Hunter Vanguard, would u do the owner...

(Y/N) POV

"... of going on a date with me!" I hesitated, waiting for a response until I was swept off my feet spinning around and around in Caydes arms before he put me down! He moved around excitedly before fumbling over some old rubble. I laughed as I helped him back up! " I'll take that as a yes?" He laughed " Of course! But this still doesn't excuse u for going to Venus! That's where the Vex live!" I gave him a reassuring smile before giving him a smile kiss on the cheek! " look i don't need to go underground so I can teleport to my ship any time! So if things get too out of hand I'll head to my ship ok?" He looked a little shocked but then kissed MY cheek and ruffled my hair putting his arm around my shoulders. " Fine But at least let me walk u back to ur ship!" I laughed as we walked back to the ship! I really hope I don't have to go underground...

A/N: well that's all for this chapter and it looks like things might be getting better between Cayde and (Y/N)!

Cayde: I'll say! I think I might have had a mini heart attack when (Y/N) kissed me!
