2 | Date with our secret cameraman!

Rose’s POV
I got out of the Uber at the bar, and just as I was about to enter the place I got a text from Will, Ashley’s boyfriend.

William
Hey, u coming?
It’s 10:35pm
Ashley’s getting mad
                   Me
                   I’m outside
                  Where r u?
William
The table under the chandelier

I took a deep breath before entering the bar, I felt nervous as I walked around the place, looking for my friends. I faked a smile when I catch Maia waving at me. I stopped a few seconds before greeting all the people sitting at the biggest table of the bar, right in the center of it, under this big chandelier.

-Hi everyone –I waved a little, at least 10 people were sitting there. I sat at the only empty chair, at the head of the table, William was sitting at my left, next to him was Ashley with a silver dress and Maia sat at my right, next to Megan. The other people there barely notice me when I arrived; all of them wore designer clothes from head to toe.
-Hi girl, how was your day? - Maia didn’t wait for me to answer –We invited some of our friends because… well…-She turned to Megan who was scanning my outfit
-We didn’t know if you have any other friends, but don’t worry, they will love you. – Her bold red lips contrasted so good with her pale skin and blue eyes
-You look amazing, Rose –Ashley spoke to me, I could feel the poison dripping from her words-Look what I have for you!-She pulled out from her purse a silver diamond crown inside a black box
-Oh my God, Ashley! That’s so aesthetic, it goes so well with my Instagram theme- Megan took out her phone and stared taking pictures with it, then she looked at me  with a fake smile– You can use it after me, Rose

I felt like Lindsay Lohan on mean girls.  Get.me.out.of.here.  All of the sudden I heard people laughing really loud a few tables away from ours, they were like 4 or 5 people sitting in the corner of the bar, it was kinda dark so I couldn’t see their faces but they seemed like having such a great time, they were either vloggin or taking pictures… I felt jealous, I wish I was having fun too…

After 2 long hours of talking about boys, clothes and superficial stuff, they brought me a chocolate slice of cake with a big firework candle; to be honest, it was a beautiful moment, they stared singing happy birthday and Maia put the crown in my head as William took photos of me.

Just when I was about to blow the candle my eyes wandered around the room; in that table where those guys were laughing, one of them had a camera and was recording his friends. For a few seconds he pointed the camera to me, so I smiled shyly to him and then I blow my candle, wishing that someday I can find good and loyal friends. I looked up and the guy was already eating and laughing with his friends. I wish I could have seen his face, it was very dark and he was too far away.
After that the night went as boring as it already was, I just wanted to go to bed and sleep till noon…

Writer’s POV
-Oh my God… This place is so boujee! - Ryland said as he looked at the luxurious place in front of them – I hope you didn’t forget your black card at home -Andrew chuckled as he turned  the camera to Shane
-My treat today guys, just because we are initiating Andrew… wait why are you holding the camera? -Shane rolled his eyes- Garrett…
-Oh right, sorry, I forgot-he laughed and took the camera from Andrew’s hands –Are you ready to get drunk tonight, Andrew? –he asked him as Andrew stood there laughing awkwardly
-Ehh… no-everyone laughed
-Well, lets go inside! –Shane and the boys walked in and looked for an empty table. At the back of the bar was a table next to a big window.

-Shane, you’ve should told me this was an expensive place-Garrett said playing with his hands-I would have worn my expensive pants
-All your pants are from Wal-Mart, shut up –Everyone laugh as they sit down – and I’m wearing a pig t-shirt so don’t complain
-I’m wearing one too –Andrew said rolling up his sleeves
-We should order champagne-Ryland stated as he looked at the menu in front of him –Ohh, can I order the Kobe beef?
-How much is it? –Shane asked as he squishes his eyes
-A couple thousands….-Ryland said hiding his face behind the menu, everyone wide their eyes
-I love you but not that much –Garrett laughed really loud so Andrew took the camera again and pointed it towards Shane–side note, did you saw those teenagers sitting in that big table? They looked disgustingly rich!
-Oh yeah… I saw them –Andrew answered him, discreetly recording a few seconds of the people laughing at the table of the center of the bar before pointing the camera at Garrett
-Shane, they aren’t teenagers, they are drinking so at least they’re like 21-Garrett said looking at the big table
-I want to be his friend, they look so good –Ryland spoke as they turn their heads back at each other and their menus
-If they see you with someone like me, they would probably throw their expensive food at you – Shane said with his typical mouth pop as everybody stared to laugh.

Andrew looked up at the big table again and he saw one of the girls raised her hand and stared waving. A beautiful girl was walking in her direction, her small body was perfectly shaped and her dark hair moved so graciously with every step she took, she was wearing a simple yet appealing outfit.
-Woah… -he whispered as he looked at her, he turned the camera at her for a few seconds but then he felt like a weirdo for recording her without her knowing
-What are you doing?-Garrett whispered next to him, without Shane and Ryland noticing 
-Nothing… -Andrew scratched the back of his neck –I just… thought she was pretty
-You should go talk to her –Garrett giggled –You blushed so it must be love at first sight, like Cinderella and the prince! –he laughed again, Andrew just looked at her and turned off the camera.

The night went on pretty fast, they were having a great time. Shane ended up ordering  fries and burgers, Ryland convince him to order a bottle of champagne.
-This onion ring has the size of a donut-Ryland said as he picked it up from Shane’s plate. Andrew zoomed the camera towards him.
-It has the size of my butt –Shane responded. Everybody laugh, and again, Garrett whispered to Andrew
-Look man, it’s her birthday!-He slightly pushed the camera in the direction of the girl with the crown-You should go and say happy birthday
-You are crazy –Andrew responded. They laughed and just when he was about to turn off the camera again, she looked at his direction. He froze for a second and then zoomed the camera just to find her smiling at him. She blow the candle and everyone around her cheered. His heart has completely stop.
