5 | Surprising my sister with her best friend!

Rose’s POV
-Hey smol bean, you can come out! – I heard Shane calling me by this nickname he’s been using since we first met. I haven’t asked him why he does. As soon as he called me, I opened the door and ran towards Morgan, than instantly stood up from the couch.
-Omg! You are here! – she said as we hug each other
-Why the hell you didn’t tell me you were moving to LA? – I ask her with a big smile as I let her go, I was so happy to have my only real friend in LA
-I literally just planned this like 2 days ago – she laughed with me.
-That’s true -Said the shortest guy in the room. I’m pretty sure he’s Morgan's brother, they look so alike. There was another guy with them, standing next to Garrett, he was shorter than him but taller than everyone else, he had ginger hair and slightly facial hair. I realized I was staring at him so I looked away at Shane that started to speak. Luckily the guy was talking to Garrett so he didn’t notice me being creepy.
- Okay Rose, you already know me of course, and my aunt Garrett – he made a girly hand motion and we laughed, Garrett and the redhead exchanged suspicious looks and then they approach us – This is the love of my life, Ryland…
-Hi, nice to meet you and omg you are so boujee! – he said as he kissed my cheek.
-Thank you, I try my best -I laughed and then I glanced at the redhead again
-We know, she’s the queen now -Shane joked – and this is our cameraman, Andrew
-Hi -I blushed as I extended my hand, I tried to hide the fact that my hand was shaking -Nice to meet you Andrew
-Uhh Hi, the pleasure is mine – Andrew said shaking his hand with me, we looked at each other for a little too long before he let go my hand.
- omg he’s gonna pass out -Shane whispered at Ryland and then he snorted really loud, causing me to turn around and laugh with everyone
-How did you meet Morgan? -Ryland asked.
-It was a few months ago in Colorado….

A couple of hours pass and Garret was back with two big Chipotle bags full of warm food.
We gathered at the round table next to the kitchen, we stared to take out the food. I sat next to Morgan and Garret, Shane was sitting next to Ryland and Andrew was sitting right in front of me.
-Oh my God -Shane spoke looking at the fries that Ryland was taking out of the bags
-Why are they so small? -Ryland said as he put the empty bags in the floor, Garrett came with 6 diet cokes in his arms and gave one to everyone
-I love you -Shane responded as he kissed Ryland’s cheek -Rose, have you tried the nacho fries? – he asked as he opened the dip
- No-I responded and then laughed a little -but I love anything that is fried so…-Everyone laughed at my comment, I looked up and saw Andrew laughing, he looked so cute…
- Omg can she have our child? -Shane said pulling Ryland’s sleeve
-They want me to be their surrogate -Morgan giggled next to me -but he’s my brother so I think that’s illegal
-Are babies in stomachs? – Garrett asked, Andrew giggled -I mean if Morgan eats, the food will fall in the baby's head right?
-I don’t think that’s how it works – Andrew responded between laughs
-So what’s the tea shister? -Ryland asked me -What do you do for a living?
- I'm a graphic designer, I work from home for some big companies which gives me a lot of free time -I shrugged and bite my shredded chicken burrito
-I’ve seen her work, she’s really good -Morgan spoke with her mouth full of food, Garrett laughed at her -she has worked with big magazines, that’s how she met Ashely Hutter and Megan Moore -I felt my cheeks blushing, I don’t want people to like me just because I was friend of those girls
-Really? You edit her content? – Andrew suddenly asked, genuinely interested, I looked at him and I blushed again
-Yeah, I take her photos and then I edit them, sometimes I choose the location or the background-I shrugged as I gave him a little smile, I saw Garrett next to him smiling very suspicious
-Her Instagram feed is goals-Ryland said as he looked at it in his phone -Why is not your username tagged in any of this?-he furrowed his eyebrows -You could have twice the amount of followers than her
- Oh, I do it because I enjoy editing and that kind of stuff -I felt a bit uncomfortable – I don’t do it for the fame and I’m always under her shadow so…
-You should be the one in front of the camera, Rose – Morgan added
-Ashley is the one with the pretty face -I looked down at the ghost of what used to be my burrito – I’m good at standing behind the camera and using facetune to fix her butt
-She’s just like you with Shane, Andrew – Garrett giggled and Andrew scratched the back of his neck, we all laughed at his comment as Shane squishes his eyes
-I think you are great, Rose… I mean, your work is great – Andrew started to babble and everyone stared at him – Not that I don’t think that you are great…- He stopped talking and looked at his hands
- Okay… anyways -Shane snorted after the short silence -We have to figure it out where she's going to live because it would be abuse if she stays at our office -Shane pointed at Morgan as Ryland stared to pick up our plates and taking them to the trash can
-I thought a homeless man was living there – Garrett laughed
-She’s not taking his house! -Shane did this weird mouth pop and I couldn’t help but laugh
-I have an extra room, if you want – I proposed her – One of my friends used to live with me but we are not in good terms right now so she moved out few months ago
-Really? That would be awesome! -Morgan hug me really tight-Living with my best friend!
- Oh Yeah but you weren’t this excited to live with your bother? -Ryland joked -I have to take a shower, it’s been a long day
-are you showering twice in the same day- Shane looked at him as if he was crazy. Garrett laughed and Ryland kissed Shane's cheek and stood up and went upstairs.
- I’m going to take my stuff from the G -Morgan left the table grabbing the car keys and then she slowly walked outside the house. We just sat there in an awkward silence.
- Uhh, Shane can I show you something upstairs? It’s something about…you know -Garrett seemed to be thinking about something and then he quickly continued  - Andrew why don’t you and Rose get to know each other, you two seem to have so much in common
-Ohhh yeah -Shane spoke and then gave both of us cheeky looks -Let’s go Garrett, you two go and sit in the couch while we do… business -They practically ran upstairs leaving Andrew and I alone. We looked at each other and went to sit in the couch.
-So… how is it like working for Shane? -I asked trying to break the silence
- It’s really fun, I got to spend time with my best friends and it keeps me pretty busy – he said -Shane told me you moved here about a year ago…
-Yeah, I was born in Brooklyn but then my parents got divorced and I moved to Colorado with my dad and his new wife – I shrugged -It stared to get uncomfortable living with them, so I moved here hoping for a change
- Did it happened? I mean, the change you were looking for? -that’s when he stared at me right in the eyes, I felt myself hypnotized by them, he looked at me fully interested in what I was saying. Or maybe it was me the one that looked at him that way…
-I’m not sure yet -I went back to reality and gave him a side smile -But things are getting better for sure

*Meanwhile at Shane's room*
Writer's POV
- Garrett I can’t believe you just met Rose and already want her to fuck Andrew -Shane joked when they arrived at his room. Garrett quickly closed the door and grab Shane’s shoulders
-Dude, that’s the girl, it’s been months and he freaked out when he saw her, how didn’t you warn me about It? – Garrett spoke so fast so Shane tried to understand him
-What are you talking about? -Shane looked at him like he was crazy, Garrett seemed really concerned about the situation
-Shane, Rose is the girl Andrew saw in the bar the day you exposed him – Garrett explained, putting his hands down -I looked at the video again just when she arrived here, I paused right in the frame of her face, I had to close the laptop without her noticing
- Omg really? -Shane couldn't believe it – What a small world, we have to set them up, Andrew is too shy, he won’t make a move on her
-I know, but I don’t want to ruin this opportunity – Garrett explained – He truly likes her, his face light up every time he remember her…
- Garrett…-Shane widened his eyes -Where did you put that laptop?...
-It's in the table in the living room, why? – Garrett looked confused
-They both editors and we left them alone to meet each other -Shane stared to panic – he will probably show her our videos and when he turn on that laptop is going to pop up her face
- Oh shit…-

Rose’s POV
We started to talk about work, edition and photography. His face glowed every time he talked about YouTube and working for Shane, he indeed enjoys it.
-I’ve noticed in Ashley’s photos the incredible lighting – He told me, showing me the pictures on Instagram – you think you could do it on video too?
-Yeah, but I’m better at editing photos than videos -I giggled covering my mouth when he looked at me
- You think you can show me how you do It? – he asked giving me a smile, my heart skipped a beat, what is happening to me?
-Sure, I just need my laptop or if you have yours here I can show you right now -I suggested
-We can use mine, I left it at Shane's room upstairs – he got up but he soon sat back at the couch and took the laptop laying in the table in front of us -That’s weird, my laptop is right here but I don’t remember leaving it there… whatever
I giggled and he opened the laptop, he pressed on and the lock screen popped. He quickly typed the password and before pressing enter he laughed and blushed as he looked at me
-Sorry, Garrett changed my password and it’s something really funny -I giggled, he looked at me for another seconds so I smiled at him, Garrett and Shane were getting downstairs.
-Andrew don’t unlock your laptop! – Garrett screamed as he eyed the screen
-Why?... – Andrew exchanged a weird look with me and faced Garrett again
-Because… - he looked at Shane that looked as strange as him -Because I was watching porn!
Garrett took Andrew’s laptop from his hands and ran upstairs again. We all knew Garrett was lying but it was so funny that I didn’t even think about It, just laughed with everyone else.
-Are you ready to have sleepovers every night, sister?-Morgan burst at the front door and I just continue laughing. I’m so happy she’s here, that she’s going to live with me and that I found this other 4 amazing people. Life is good.
