Recap; "Liv, seeing as though you're working for me now, you can call me by name outside of school. It's Michael." He suggested. It would be awkward for her at first but she obliged to his wishes. She returned to the stove to grab her bowl and sparkling juice and sat down across from Michael. Michael waited for her to take her seat to take the first bite. "Liv, this is amazing! Great job!" He said. She blushed. Michael put on some slow dance music after they finished eating. "Care to dance, Liv?" He asked. She chuckled and joined him in the living room to dance. They danced for a while. He spun her and dipped her brought her back up to continue. When the music neared the end, they kind of just stood there looking into each other's eyes. Michael slowly looked down to her lips and bit his own. Without thinking he kissed Olivia. Without thinking she kissed back. She quickly pulled away. "I should get going." She said. "Let me drive you, it's cold." He demanded. "No, no. It's okay. I like it." She said. Without another word she put her jacket on and left. I guess that answered her question about their being another person romantically involved. . .

~The Next Day~

The time was 10:00 A.M. Olivia was able to sleep in today since it was Saturday. She rose from her bed and stretched. She walked downstairs to see her mom sitting in the living room sipping a warm cup of coffee and reading. "Goodmorning, mom!" Olivia called out. "Good morning, honey. How was your first day yesterday? We hadn't got a chance to talk." She replied. "It was good. I think I am going to eat upstairs." Olivia said whioe putting a bagel in the toaster and brewing herself a cup of coffee. "Am I that bad?" Her mom joked. "Of course not, I just prefer to be in my bed right now." Olivia replied. Her mom gave her a look, "Everything okay?" She asked. Olivia nodded. Her bagel popped up and she put it on the plate.
Just as she finished putting cream cheese on the bagel, there was a knock at the door. "I wonder who that is at this hour." Her mom said. "I'll get it, mom." Olivia answered thinking it was probably Ebony. When she opened the door her mouth drpped along with her bagel. "Goodmorning, Liv. Oh my." Michael said. "What are you doing here?" Olivia quickly asked while crouching down to retrieve her bagel. "I made a schedule for you last night. So that you can plan around work." He admitted. "Is your mother home?" He asked. "Uh, no." Olivia responded. "Olivia, whose at the door, honey?" Her mom called out. She looked down in embarrassment. Michael gave her a confused look and smirked. "Well then." He replied. "Can I come in?" He asked. Olivia awkwardly nodded and allowed him inside. Olivias mother rose to her feet. "You can take a seat on the couch." Olivia said. "Hello, you must be-" her mother started. "Mr. Jackson. You may call me Michael." He continued with a smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Rosie. Please, come take a seat." She responded. "Are you hungry? Thirsty?" She asked. "Thank you, but that's alright." He responded. "So, how is Olivia doing with her cooking?" Rosie asked. "Very well, were you aware you could be living with a 5 star chef?" He joked. "Sense of humor, I like it." Rosie said with a chuckle. They both shared a smile.
"I think I will go upstairs now." Olivia said as she dismissed herself and went back into her room. She couldn't believe he was at her house. She wanted to talk to someone. The first person that came to mind was Ebony. She dialed her number and pressed call. "Hello? Girl, do you see the time?" Ebony answered. "I know, I know. I'm sorry. I'm just.... okay, girl. I've got a confession. Can I come over?" Olivia asked. "Yeah, girl." Ebony responded and hung up. Olivia quickly threw on some appealing clothing and rushed downstairs. "Sorry to interrupt. Eb just called and asked me to come over, so I'm going to hang out there for a while." Olivia said. "Okay, but sweetie, I still have some news to share with you so don't be gone all day, okay?" Her mother responded. "Don't be rude, say goodbye to Michael." She added. "Goodbye Michael, I mean, Mr. Jackson. Have a good day" Olivia said quickly while avoiding eye contact. She rushed out of the door and over to Ebony's.
