Recap; She read the words silently in her head. She heard the door open and Michael came back inside. She quickly balled the paper back up and put it back where it was. She ran up the stairs and back into her bedroom. She plopped down onto her bed, out of breath. I never knew he felt so deeply, she thought to herself. . .
Olivia laid in her bed, pondering. She grabbed her phone and open her contact list. Just as she was about to call Triniti, Bryson replied.
Bryson; Hey beautiful girl. I'm so sorry I'm late. Had football practice.
Olivia; Hm, you sure you're not just playing hard to get? Lol just kidding. How did practice go?
Bryson; It went well, what did you do in my absence? Lol
Olivia; Slept. Lol
Bryson; Oh, that's fun. I got to go, I'm going out with the family for dinner. Talk to you later?
Olivia; Okay.
He's kinda dry, Olivia thought to herself. She threw her phone onto the other side of her bed and let out a long sigh. A few minutes later, a knock could be heard on her door. "Olivia, may I come in?" Michael softly asked. He sounded so broken. "Um, I guess." Olivia responded not knowing how to even look at him right now. "I just came to apologize for how I talked to you earlier. You're mother left a little while ago and I'm not really in the mood to cook, so how would you like to join me for dinner?" Michael sincerely asked. Olivia swallowed hard. "Oh, I guess that'll be fine. Let me just freshen up, I'll meet you downstairs, okay?" Olivia responded. Michael smiled and closed the door. Olivia immediately jumped up from her bed and went straight to her walk in closet. She didn't want to wear anything uncomfortable but she couldn't dress sloppy either. She chose a cute floral sundress accompanied by white flip flops. Her white toenails were exposed and matched her finger nails. She decided to wear her pearl earrings and applied a light amount of makeup. She was just about to open the door and then it hit her; she was about to go out with a man who wrote a love letter about her and she had no idea how to face him.
She pulled out her phone and quickly called Triniti. It went straight to voicemail. "Damn it, Trin." She whispered. "Texting it is." She added.Olivia; Trin!! SOS!! I need to talk to you.
She didn't want to leave without speaking to Triniti but she couldn't keep Michael waiting. "Liv? You about ready?" Michael called up to her. "Oh, yeah! Be there in a minute!" She responded.
Trin; Girl, what is going on?
Olivia; Oh finally!! Listen, Michael and Diana broke up today and you're not going to believe why.
Trin; I've got an idea, but spill the tea.
Olivia; Well, it was over me. I guess he wrote himself a love letter about me. Why he couldn't resist me and how deeply he admired me.
Trin; Oh jeez, have you spoke to him about it?
Olivia; That's why I'm here. What should I do? We are going out for dinner now, I don't even know how to face him, Trin.
Trin; Don't even bring it up. Act clueless. You just met a boy, the last thing you need to do is fall back into that scandal. Honestly, listen to your bestfriend.
