A/N: Heyo! Welcome to my new obsession! I'm sure almost everyone is obsessed with this newly (kinda newly) released game. And guess whose everyone's favorite character is? Yap, 'tis Connor. I hope ya'll like this story! Also I am very sorry. This is a warning. This introduction was poorly put together. My dearest apologies. (Art credit goes to naty-js)

"Daddy! Daddy! Look at that woman! She's so pretty." Your eight-year-old self admired as you and your father strolled through the park after a long day of play time.

"That's not a woman sweetheart. That's an Android. Though Cyberlife does make them so beautiful, don't they?" He smiled down at you.

You giggled. Your father picked your small figure up and placed you on his shoulders. The autumn leaves floated all around you. The sunlight shined through the thick treetops above. You passed an elderly man tossing a few bread crumbs onto the ground to feed the sparrows and morning doves. A man was nearby and was staring at the old man, but with no emotion.

"Daddy? How come they look weird?" You asked.

"What do you mean? You just said they look pretty." Your father chuckled.

"When they stare. They don't look like us." You specified.

Your father sighed but still had the fatherly grin on his face. "Are you ready for your word of the day, (Y/n)?" He inquired. It was only you and your father. Your mother left before you could talk. Since then, your father has been teaching you everything you know. Every day he would teach you a new word. Some bigger than others.

You scrunched your face and answered with a "hmp" and a nod. Your father smirked. "Okay, the word is emotion." He spoke ready to start his short lesson.

"Eh- Em- Emotion?" You fumbled with your word trying to sound it out.

"Yes! You got it. Ready for the meaning?" He continued. You shook head again; very eager to learn. "It's something that we feel every day all the time!" He joyfully explained.

"Like breathing?" You questioned.

"Sort of. Let me put it this way. How do you feel when you meet a new friend?" He looked up at you.

"Excited!" You cheerfully grinned.

"Right, and how about when I have to punish you for being bad?" He slyed his brow.

"Angry... sad." You pouted at the thought of it.

"Those are called emotions. Now see that Android?" He pointed at a WB200 that was raking a pile of leaves in his green Cyberlife uniform. "They have no emotions. They aren't built with them."

"So they aren't like us?" You asked confused.

"They are as much like us as we want them to be. Some people don't like Androids, but some love them." Your father tried to explain the best he could to his eight-year-old daughter.

"You mean like mommies and daddies?" Your naive self blurted out. When you saw the hurt in his eyes you immediately regretted speaking.

"Exactly so." Your father sighed. "Let's hurry up and get home. It's getting late, and you have school tomorrow."

"Yes, daddy." Was the last thing either of you said the rest of the walk home.

10 Years Later

"Get up, (L/n)! I'm not done with you yet." A girl growled not far from your aching body that was pinned against the wall of one of the AC unit on top of the school. Two of her friends lingering behind her with their arms crossed.
