Chapter Aesthetic-
Matthew's point of view-
I curled my fist into a ball and punched the steering wheel. She's gone. I should've told her. She was the one. I just knew it. I have to go after her.
I got out of the car and ran after her. "CLARISSA!!! GET BACK HERE!" I screamed. I saw her tense and flinch at my tone and command. She turned around to face me and tears. Tears. That's all I saw.
My mouth was agape and I covered it with my right hand. I dragged my hand back down to my side and felt tears well up in my eyes. I did this to her. I put her in tears. Why? Because I didn't tell her about my aborted baby with Aqua.
"Y-you killed an innocent baby." She cried.
"I wasn't ready for a baby. I wasn't ready." I cried out to her.
She walked up to me and wrapped her arms around my waist. "I'm sorry." She whispered into my chest.
"No. I'm sorry. I should've told you." I muttered into her shoulder and grabbed her by her hips and kissed her.
She pulled away, breathless. "It wasn't my choice. She told me that she didn't want pain to come from giving birth to a child." I told her. Her eyes softened.
"I'm sorry for assuming. I should've talked to you. I'm so sorry." She cried harder into my chest.
"Hey. Hey. Shhhh, shhh. It's okay. She told you wrong. Don't you dare blame yourself for assuming. You didn't assume, you were told differently than what really happened. You were lied to." I whispered to her. I placed my hand in her back and rubbed up and down, just to calm her nerves.
After about ten minutes in that position, I picked her up and she wrapped her legs around me and hugged onto my body tight and close.
I opened the passenger side door and slipped her into the seat. When I was about to unclamp her hands from my neck, she leaned up and kissed me with a smile. She pulled away first and put her hands in her lap. I closed her door and jogged to my door.
I started the car and we drove home. We walked inside and there was someone arguing with one of my maids. "I tracked her. She is here. Where is my sister." I heard someone shout.
"Your sister is not here, she is out with Mr. Hanes." My maid awnsered calmly.
"WHO THE HELL IS MR. HANES!!!!!" The girl yells. I grabbed Claire's hand and we walked over.
"I'm Mr. Hanes, who are you?" I asked. I felt Clarissa squeeze my hand a bit.
"I'm Olivia, Clarissa's sister." She spat.
"Why are you here?" Clarissa asked with her head down.
"What? I need an excuse to see my little sister?" She smiled. She walked up to Claire with open arms but, Claire back away from her.
"Yes. You do. You tried to sell me into prostitution. There is nothing in this universe that could make me forgive you. Your a horrible person." Claire said. She broke out into tears and clinged onto my shirt with tears dampening my shirt. But, I didn't care.
My baby is hurt and she doesn't deserve to be. She deserves to be treated with respect and kindness.
"I think you should go." I said to Olivia. She nodded and showed herself out. I circled her waist with my arms and hugged her tight.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cry." I heard her faintly whisper.
"Hey. Shhh. It's okay. Shhh. You can always cry, whenever you need to." I said as I keeled down on my knees and kissed her cheek.
"Can we go to sleep?" She asked, wiping her tears away from her face that was full of beauty.
"Yeah. Come on, sugarplum." I said before picking her up bridal style and hauling her upstairs to our room.
I laid her down on the right side of the bed and pulled the covers over here small and fragile body. I heard her whimper. "Can you sleep with me too?" She cried out to me with hope pleading for me to lay down beside of her.
"Yeah, sweetness. I just have to take off my shoes. " I said, pulling my shoes off of my feet.
I cuddled up beside her and she fell asleep instantly in my arms.
She is the best thing to ever happen to me. I think I'm in love with her. God! I've fallen in way too hard. But, this bashful and beautiful girl is mine and I love her. I love her with all of my heart but, how will I tell her!?
I'll never let her go and I'll never stop loving her.
The door bell rang and I had to pull myself away from my babygirl and replace myself with a body pillow. I hustled down the stairs and awnsered the door.
"Who are you?" I spat.
"Oh, so does Clarrisa Jones.... not live here?" He smirked.
"She does, she's my girlfriend. But, who the fuck are you?" I asked with an annoying look plastered across my face.
"Me?" He pointed to himself and I nodded as if he was deaf.
"Oh, I'm her friend." He smirked once again. I smirked back to him playfully and slammed the door in his face without remorse.
