I took my time to look over the tin man, and enjoyed every minute of it. My whole life I've been waiting for this moment I didn't know I'll ever have, but here it is. My fingers traced over all the dents of the machine. It was really busted up. How would ever what to do that. I heard a woman's giggle and I looked over. She was sitting on the table, swinging he legs happily. "Look Brock. You finally did it! I'm so proud of you!" She smiled which made me smiled back. I snapped out of it and turned my attention towards the robot.

Ok, I can repair and replace some of the gears and beat out some of the dents then go over Evans journal again in case it has anything about the robots building structure.

I sighted out as I got to work. After hours of just fixing shaft of the main gears in the head, I moved down to the torso. I started to gently pull out some of the gears, but I was surprised when I saw a giant lump of something, in the middle of it, and took it out. It was as hard as a rock and honestly just looked like a normal rock. I tossed it aside. I heard a splash, and I turned around to see it floating in a tub of water. I rolled my eyes and continued to work.

I sighted out, and wiped to top of my brow. After a couple more hours of work, I finally finished. Well almost. I couldn't really fix a part of the face. I didn't have the right colour for the way so he ended up having one blue and one red. The part of the face with the red eyes was scratched and torn up far from repair. He was almost perfect. All I needed to do was turn it on.

I read that after saying a some pasific word it'll turn of. Something like tempus? "Tempus?" I said and it's eyes opend, and mouth opend, only for it to say a "Quare". "What?" I asked confused but before it could say anything, the jaw ad the machine feel off. "Damit!" I shouted and quickly caught the part. I screwed it back on.

I was tired. I went to a chair, and sat in it. Only a couple seconds later I passed out.

...

-A hour later-

"Brock? Brock, where are yo-" I asked as I nudged the door open, due to the bag of bread I had in my hands. When I went to find Brock I saw he was passed out on the chair. I let out a huff, and roled my eyes. Lui came with me this time since he had a day off. He hasn't seen Brock in awhile. "Brock?" He asked, and was about to wake him up but I stopped him. "Let him sleep. He over works like you, but doesn't get as much sleep." He nodded his head and looked around the workshop. Brock wouldn't mind.

"Wow." Lui said in amazement. "He's really good a designing clocks." I hummed in agreement. He continued to look around and I put the loaf on a clean spot of the workshop desk. I looked over the thing me and Brock found. Maybe it was a good thing we went on that trip. Well, for Brocks sakes (kinda).

Lui walked up to the tin man and touched a spot on it a face. It was all torn up a shit, but it looks a lot better then when we first got it. "Is this what you were talking about? I thought you said it was all banged up." He said, also looking over the robot thing.

"I guess Brock patched it up. It looks really good." I heard some shuffling, and I see a tired Brock rub his eyes. "Ay, what you guys doing?" He said leaning on the table, head resting on his hand. "We thought you might want so new company." I said and Lui walks over to Brock. They both extange a small hug. "Its good to see you Lui." Brock said straightening up a bit. "You to Brock." He gave a soft smile. I chuckled lightly, "I see you've been working again. The robot is looking good." "Robot?" "Just somethings I came up with (I was going to get tired of say the tin man or tin man even tho it's the title of the book) "Well ok then."

He walked closer to the robot and flicked something on the back of the head. It's eyes rolled out, and his mouth hung low. It scared Lui a bit at how sudden it was. He club to my arm. I wrapped my arm around his to comfort him. "Quare" It said. "What? What did it say?" I asked, also getting a little weirded out by it. "I don't know." He said as the robot continued to say "Quare." We watched it. It only moved it eyes around, as if it was looking around by itself, and said the same thing.

"Its Latin." Lui suddenly said out of nowhere. "What." Brock asked. He shared the same look I had. Confused. "My mom use to tell me some Latin when I was younger." He said. "Well, do you know what it's saying?" I asked, looking down at him. "No but I had a book that she gave me at the house. I could go it." He said. "Yeah, let's go get it." "Really. Thank you." Brock said smiling. "Mmhm. We'll be back." Lui said as we both left his shop.

...

I let out a sigh as I stared at the "robot". It was beutiful. It's sad that it was all damaged and not placed in a museum or something. It looked as if it was... "sad." I decided it could use a little shine. I polished the machine untill the light coming from the windows reflected off of it.

I sighed out and put the polish up. I leaned against the counter, picking up the rock that had been left on the counter. I looked over it then realised that it was made of clay with a strange smell coming off of it. Curious, I pulled the peice of clay up to my nose, smelling it. It gave off a smell that reminded me of her. It smelt oddly enough, just like the perfume she wore.

I closed my eyes, remembering some moments we had. Without evening thinking, I planted a small kiss on the clay. Regreting it, I gagged at the awful taste it had, then laughing at how stupid I am.

When Lui and David got back, they held a big book, with a dark blue cover. He handed it to me and I took it faster then I would have wanted to. "Sorry." I said before flipping through the pages untill finding the word "Quare". David then looked over my shoulder. "Why?" I looked over to the machine and turned it back on. "Why." I said. It just repeated the word but it tilted it's head a little. I then tried to say "quare" but still didn't work. I flipped through a couple more pages before landing on what quick is translated "Quid est". "Quid est?" I asked, looking back at the machine. It's head lifted up, looking directly at me, and turning it's head slightly. "Cor meaum" Lui went ahead and took the book out of my hands, and quickly flipped through the pages untill he landed on something. "Heart? What's that suppose to mean?" He asked. "I don't know. Machines don't have hearts, only gears and-"

I rambled on, trying to figure this out, we heard a very loud hum. I turned around to see the panel located on the torso opend and the peice of clay in the machine. "David!" I yelled at him, worried he just screwed years on lost work, which was just repaired. I pushed past him and was about to remove the clay peice out of it before something could damage it more, when it suddenly pushed it's self off of the counter. I looked down at me, me just realising how tall he is, then looked at David. He pushed past me and lifted David by his collar.

Lui rushed to the machine, trying to pry David out of its grip, while I have a panic attack, not k owing what to do. The machine looked down at lui. Lui had a worried expression. The machine possessed the emotion the smaller human had, and then gently put David down. It looked back at Lui who was now trying to see if David was okay, the turned to look at me. I backed up a little, worried what it would do to me, but the only thing it did was take the book and dart off out of the workshop.

Before I could prosses everything that had happen, I ran out to catch him before the could get to far, but it was already to late. It was like it just disapperd out of thin air. It was gone.
