"Brock! Where are you going!" David yelled out but I ignored him. I ran out of the cave with the man in my arms smiling to myself. I can't believe it. I can't believe I found him! I placed the man right on a smoothed out wall of stone sitting him up right. I stared at it with amazement and disbelief.
I heard David get closer and out of breath he stood right next to me. "Wh-what the fuck Brock?!" he shouted. "Its beautiful isn't?" I squealed like a little girl whos dad had just bought her a new doll. "Its better then Id expected it!" I said still memorized. I think David thinks I just lost my mind or something.
"What the fuck is it then. It looks like a big hunk of tin." I smacked his legs. "David do you know what this is? Its the lost tin man the famous inventors Evan Fong made. Its been lost for more then a decade!" He didn't say anything as I quickly but carefully took off the panel that revealed the inside gears.
Shocked at what it showed was more horrifying then the bashed in parts of the front. All the gears where damaged and many of the important parts were ripped off or shattered. David started to shakeme out of no where and I looked back up at him. "What should we do?" he asked. I took a glance back at the man then back at David. Worrie glinted in his eyes. I sighed out knowing what to do.
I closed back the panel and settled right next to the man. "Brock wha-" "We stay here for the night then we'll take it back to my shop in the morning." David looked back at the sky to see that it was already getting dark. He let out a tired sigh already giving in. "Fine." he said then settled on the other side of the man. We both stayed quiet and we soon fell asleep.
...
"Hey Brock were do you wanted me to put this?" "Don't worry babe I'll get it." "Aww you're to sweet." She said and wrapped he arms around my neck and pecked my lips. I laughed and spun her around. We both laughed as we feel back onto the new couch we bought. We both hugged as we accidentally feel asleep.
...
"Brock. Brock. Come on wake up." David said and once again woke me up by shaking me. "What." I said grouchily rubbing my eyes to see that they were wet. "You were crying in your sleep. Brock are you sure your ok?" he said pulling me into a hug. I lazily wrapped my arms around and I squeezed a bit pulling him closer to me. I don't know if I am really "ok"."
We soon let go and we were on or way back home with the tin man between us. We had to keep switching potions just so we could get a grip around him. Minus the adrenaline from the first time this thing was heavily.
An hour later we came to a stop to take a small break. "H-how much longer till were back in town?" I asked wipping sweat above my brow. "Uh about another hour or so." he said looking at the map. "Ugh. Why did it have to be so far." I groaned leaning on the man for support.
"Hey remember when you fell in the cave yesterday?" David said out of no where. "Yeah how can I forget. I got bruises from it." "Well when you ran off I tripped right where you did. I looked to see what it was and it was a rock." David said. "Well yeah. Was that it?" I asked not really getting were he was going with this. "Well look at it. Its the shape of a potato." He said cradling the rock with both hands. I laughed expecting something else. "Hey don't make up of me rock, Brock." He said.
...
"Im so glad to be back. I missed you so much." I said kissing the wall of my shop. "Hey don't do that im front of me." I laughed while he set down the man to stretch alittle. "So where are we putting it?" He said pointing to the man. "Here lets just put it in my work room." I said and we moved it to the work room. We set it down and I took a step back to take in everything. "Well Brock take care. Im going to sleep in a real bed to night. Bye." "Ok bye. Say hi to Lui if you see him." He hummed back a reply and walked out the door. I sighed out and looked over every detail of the man. I still can't believe it.
