It was nearly dusk, Sana was currently on a ship going back to Korea. She just finished important paperwork related to her deceased parents in Japan.

Right now, she was talking to her cousin on the phone.

"I wonder that there is no shark I can see," Sana said.

"Why? Do you want to be eaten by sharks?" Nayeon asked on the other line.

"It's not like that. I just wanted to see them in the ocean. The aquarium is boring sometimes." Sana retorted.

"Hmmm... So, what time you're coming here?" Nayeon asked, changing the topic.

"I don't know. There is no announcement yet." Sana replied.

"You could have taken a flight," Nayeon said.

"I wanted to enjoy the sea, unnie." Sana retorted.

"Yeah, you wanted to enjoy the sea," Nayeon repeated. "I know the real reason though."

"You know me well, cousin. I'll hang up now, please do check on my cub." Sana said referring to her half-sister—Chaeyoung.

"No worries, she's not just a cub anymore, she's a beast now." Nayeon laughs on the other line.

"Baby beast," Sana chuckled.

Just as she ended the call. The emergency alarm beeps. People started running here and there. They were also screaming something she couldn't comprehend.

Suddenly, there's an explosion causing Sana to hit her head on a hard surface. She touches her head and felt blood rushing through it. She was about to move when another explosion followed that got people thrown away—including Sana.

Some passengers were trapped in the ship as it was sinking.

Despite the pain she felt, Sana forced herself to swim with a thought of her family and friends waiting for her arrival.

As she was swimming, she found a floating log and rested on it. Unfortunately, the trunk can't take her whole weight, giving her no choice but to submerge half of her body in the water.

Sana looks around in hopes that someone will rescue them. Her body became numb as she was losing a lot of blood. She fought the urge to sleep, but her vision started to blur and she lost her consciousness eventually. As time passes by, the trunk she was resting was being swept away by the waves.

Later that night, Tzuyu and Chaeyoung were on the Kim's private penthouse waiting for Sana's arrival when they saw the news. Tzuyu quickly phoned Sana, but she keeps on getting the same voice mail.

"Sorry, the number you have dialed was currently unattended. Please try again later."

In frustration, Tzuyu throws her phone on the wall.

"This can't be happening. This is not real. Saaanaaa!" Tzuyu exclaimed. Her tears fell uncontrollably.

As for Chaeyoung, she was speechless. Her heart sank hearing that her sister was one of the missing passengers.

Not long after, their friends started coming one by one.

"Sana, s-she's in that ship. We have to go there, please. We need to find her." Nayeon begs while pulling the hem of Jeongyeon's shirt. Her eyes were already swollen in so much crying.

"Unnie, calm down. Let's just pray that nothing bad happened to her." Mina said.

"Calm down? How can I? My cousin is out there! Do you get it? My cousin!" Nayeon shouted while glaring at Mina.

"Let's find her. My sister, she can't be dead. We have to find her. She's the only family I have besides Nayeon-unnie and I can't lose her." Chaeyoung spoke as she wipes her tears.

With that, they left the penthouse and seeks for help. They ask the police to take them to their mission of finding the other passengers. They searched the whole night without resting, but to no avail. No Sana showed up.

"Sana, where are you? Please come home. We miss you so much. Please come back to me. Chaeyoung and I will graduate by the end of the month. How can we get married if you don't show yourself?" Tzuyu mumbled while facing the wide ocean.

Days, weeks, and months passed by, yet they didn't found Sana. They were all affected by the incident.  Nayeon, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu lack their appetite and they skipped meals most of the time.

As for Tzuyu, she spends most of her time on her yacht hoping that she will find Sana though the police already closed the case on finding her.

They deceived them into believing that Sana might get eaten by sharks or maybe her body falls apart because of the explosion, just like the other missing passengers.

Whenever Tzuyu got home, Nayeon and Chaeyoung were also there—not talking and just crying soundlessly. They're like robots in the way they move. Walking like zombies and are so grumpy.

Tzuyu's brother, Eunwoo, flight back to Korea from Europe as he finds out what happened to Sana. He went straight to Nayeon's apartment knowing that his sister was there and called all Sana's friends to meet him and talks to them.

"Just because Sana is missing doesn't mean you have to stop your life as well. It hurts, but if you want to see her again we have to think positively. Don't waste your time crying. You only live once. If Sana will see you like this, I'm sure she will scold you for being childish." Eunwoo started.

"We can't find her like this. Tzuyu, if you're not eating, not sleeping, not taking rest? How can you marry Sana if you're the one who's gone when she returns?" He asked trying to knock some sense.

"And you Nayeon, you already have Jeongyeon. I know Sana is important to you, but you have to think for the other people around you as well. You too Chaeyoung, you have to take care of yourself. Do you think Sana will like what you girls are doing? We all feel the pain, not just the three of you. We just don't show it because it won't help at all." Eunwoo scolded them.

"Eunwoo's right. If we want to find unnie, we should not lose ourselves too." Chaeyoung said.

Meanwhile, a patient wakes up and looks around with dextrose connected to her right arm. She's been sleeping for months now. A family of doctors found her at the seashore and bring her to their clinic.

"Where am I?" She asked.

"You're in a clinic. How do you feel?" The woman asked.

"What am I doing here? Who am I? Who are you? Ouch!" She groaned in pain as she touches her forehead.

"Don't push your self to remember anything, dear. You will just hurt yourself. Anyway, you are Eun-bi. Kwon Eun-bi and you're our daughter. I am Ruby and your dad is Eugine." The woman said. She explained that she got into an accident when she was swimming. She then excused herself to inform her husband of the news.

.
"How is she?" Eugene asked as the wife approaches him.

"She's finally awake... From now on, we will call her Eun-bi." Ruby stated.

"She's not our daughter." He rebutted as he looked at his wife, surprised.

"From now, she is. She has amnesia." Ruby spat.

"What if her memory comes back?" Eugene asked.

"Then we will send her home, but for now, let her be our daughter." She stated.

As the patient became stable, her new parents decided to bring her back to Korea to meet her so-called best friend—Dylan Wang.

It's been a decade since they saw each other and the poor guy has no idea that his real best friend died right after her college graduation.
