Quickly, Eunbi turned the steering wheel, avoiding the truck, and is now going to hit the wall.
Luckily, she had hit the breaks and stops the car before it could crush to the wall. However, the sudden stop caused her to move forward and bumps her head into the steering wheel.
This made her feel woozy and her head hurts as particular scenarios replayed on her memory from her parents' accident, her half-sister and cousin, the moment she met her friends, her college life, her relationship with Tzuyu, to the explosion at the ship she was boarding.
All those pieces of blurry scenes on her dream and when she is alone all made sense now as she completely regained her memory.
Tears began flowing down her cheek as she screamed in frustration. She then laughs at herself at the realization.
"Pabo! You are Sana, why were you jealous of yourself?" She told herself.
As she calms down, she wipes her tears and drove back to her so-called parents to confront them about it.
Reaching the Kwon's residence, she then scanned the place and looks at every picture that was hanging on the wall. This house was her home, and now it only hurts her knowing all the good memory she has in this family was a lie.
With this, she felt emotional and her tears fell before she could stop them.
Not long after, Rubby noticed her presence and immediately pulled her husband towards Sana.
"Dear, what happened? Are you okay?" Rubby asked.
Looking at the approaching couple, Sana then spoke.
"Mom... I am not Eunbi, am I?" The brunette asked. Eugene's eyes widened at the sudden mention of Sana. This is it, the time he is afraid would come is now happening.
"What are you talking about?" Rubby asked, pretending to be innocent about the topic.
"I am the missing Japanese. I am Minatozaki Sana, didn't I?" Sana asked. When Rubby did not reply to her question, she then resumed asking.
"Why didn't you tell me, and gave me a different name instead?" Sana cried
"All this time... All this time I have been living in a lie. Why, mom? Why?!" Sana asked while wiping her nonstop tears.
"Eunbi," Rubby called and was about to hold her when Sana steps back.
"Don't touch me. I am not Eunbi," Sana said.
"Eunbi, dear-" Eugene started and was immediately cut by the latter.
"You lied to me, you lied to us!" Sana said while glaring at them. She couldn't imagine how her sister suffered in the thought she was already dead.
"Dear, we just did that because we want a daughter. We love you," Eugene said while comforting his now crying wife. He loves her like a real daughter and if it wasn't for his wife, he could have sent her home years ago.
"Love? Is that what you called love? Dad, I also have a family that is looking for me. Have you ever think how would they feel in thought I have died just because they couldn't find me? Have you thought of that?" Sana asked. She couldn't contain her overflowing sadness.
"You said you love me, but why did you hide the truth? You'd rather choose to hurt me." She added.
"Eunbi, please understand us. We just did that for your own good—we thought it was the best for you," Rubby said, she kept on trying to hold her but Sana keeps on moving away as well.
"Best for me, or just the best for you? You guys are so selfish. You did not even consider other people's feelings around you. You purposely did that for your own good-" Sana said and was being cut when Rubby's palm landed on her cheek that shocks her.
"Dear, I'm sorry," Rubby said as she realized what she just did.
As for Sana, she looks at the couple disappointingly while touching her cheek. Then, she ran out of the house without saying a word.
A/n: this chapter is honestly my favorite.
