Later in the afternoon, Eunbi's work was done as the time ticks to five o'clock. She was happy that Tzuyu allows her to go home right after her last task, to organized their schedules. She is excited to see Dylan again. The latter has arrived earlier.

As Eunbi reached the ground floor, she searched her phone on her bag to call Dylan. Unfortunately, she left it in their office with the small cactus plant Yiren has given her.

"Uh, why am I so forgetful?" She asked as she scratched her not so itchy head and walks back to their office.

Reaching the top floor, she then walks into the office and was surprised to see Tzuyu, hugging a redhead girl. Her excitement died as she met Tzuyu's gaze. The CEO's eyes were sparkling in happiness and she felt a sudden sting inside her chest.

"She must be Sana," Eunbi thought. It was the first time she saw the girl and she assumes it was the Sana everyone was been telling her about.

Unknown to her, it was her friend, Nancy. The latter returned from Madrid just to send them a wedding invitation for her and Mingyu's marriage.

Noticing her presence, Tzuyu broke the hug. As for the redhead girl, she looks shocked seeing Eunbi.

"Sana," Nancy mumbled.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bother you. I just..." Eunbi thrilled off as she took her phone and showed it to them.

"forgot this." Eunbi smiled awkwardly and excused herself immediately.

"I think she misunderstood us. You should talk to her." Nancy said.

"I'll tell you the details later, I need to follow her," Tzuyu said and excused herself as well.

As for Eunbi, she rushed out of the company and call a cab as she did not bring her car.

"Just drop me at Circle Park." She said as the driver asked her destination. She then messaged Dylan that she'll be going to the Park first, but the pilot insisted on meeting her at the fountain.

As she arrived at the said park, Dylan was already there, waiting.

"What's with the long face?" He asked as he approaches her.

"I just missed you," Eunbi replied and hugs Dylan.

The guy just embraced her and mumbled an "I missed you too" with a smile.

"You look like you can't live without your best friend, eh?" Dylan teased and nudges her as they're walking to the fountain.

"Yah! Of course, I can." Eunbi defended with a pout that only made her best friend laugh.

She was about to punch his arm but he quickly runs, avoiding the now angry squirrel.

As he reached the fountain, he then splashes her with water.

"Yah, stop! You are so mean," Eunbi said and walks closer to him. As she got to the fountain, she splashes him as well and they began playing with the water while laughing together.

When they had enough of splashing, they then walk around the park hand in hand.

"I miss this. I mean, it's been a decade since we play like this." He said as he looks at Eunbi.

"Yeah, it was fun," Eunbi said though she could not recall those memory Dylan was telling her—which did not actually happen.

"Eunbi, I have something to tell you," Dylan said. His tone became serious.

"Hmm, what is it?" Eunbi asked as they stopped walking and looks at him.

Holding her other hand, Dylan began speaking.

"We've been friends for a long time now and as days passed by my feelings began to change." Dylan started.

"And, what about it?" Eunbi asked innocently.

"I don't know when it starts, or how it happened, it just did. Eunbi, I don't see you just as a friend. I... I'm in love with you. Can you be my girl?" Dylan confessed with sincerity.

Eunbi, on the other hand, was surprised by his confession. It was like a torn was being pierced into her heart. She was thankful that Dylan loves her, at the same time, she was hurting knowing she can't reciprocate his feeling.

With this, she started getting emotional. She then leaned her forehead on Dylan's chest.

"Dylan, you are the only person I trust everything with, and I don't want to mess that up. I'm sorry. I love you, but not as how you look at me and I will only hurt you if I said yes without having the same feeling as yours." Eunbi sobs.

"It's okay, stop crying. I understand if you can't love me back." Dylan said as she kissed Eunbi's crown while rubbing her back. A lone tear then fell on his cheek.

"You are not mad at me, are you?" Eunbi asked as she sniffs.

"Of course, not. It hurts yes, but what else could I do? I can't force you to love me." He replied.

"Besides, I can still be your boy best friend, can't I?" Dylan asked after accepting the rejection.

"Of course, you are still my best friend," Eunbi said and hugs him.

"Thanks for being honest," Dylan said as he embraces her.

"No, thanks for being the best friend that you are." Eunbi retorted.

Unknown to them, Tzuyu was watching them in a distance and called her secretary to interrupt their moment.

As for Dylan, he noticed that Eunbi's phone began buzzing.

"That must be important. You should answer it." Dylan said as they broke the hug.

"I'm at Circle Park. We have an urgent meeting. I need you here, now." Tzuyu informed.

As the call ended, Eunbi looks at him expectantly.

"I'm sorry, the boss is asking me to come for an emergency meeting," Eunbi said.

"It's fine, take care then," Dylan said.

With that, Eunbi hugs him once again before leaving. Dylan could only look at her flee.

A moment after, it began raining. Dylan stayed at his position and sighed heavily.

"So it was real. You were kissing Yiren that night. It's okay if you can't be mine, at least you are in good hands." Dylan said, withstanding the heavy rain.
