"Cogman! Is that normal?!" Vivian questioned fearfully as an alarm started blaring. Cursing, I rocked on my chair, almost falling off of the damn thing when I saw a yellow shadow of an attack sub tailing us on the sonar radar, as well as Cogman's helm as he also looked at it.
"Perfectly, ma'am. A nuclear-class attack submarine is on our stern" Cogman answered, both of us getting the others to a safer part of the ship. "What?" Vivian cried as I pushed her after Cogman, "Quick, follow me. Quick".
"Cade, you too. Hurry it up!" I yelled at the male making him roll his eyes and chase after Vivian and Cogman as I held up the back. I rolled my eyes at Cade's decision to change into a singlet, also half-heartedly agreeing as it was pretty fucking hot down here.
"Its your sub, not mine" He stated as he ducked through the entrances following after Cogman, Vivian following behind him and in front of me still. "My sub? Seven hours ago, I was just a professor" Vivian declared before more alarms began to scream at us all.
"Get in there" Cogman growled, pushing Cade and Vivian into the smaller area with reinforced glass around the walls allowing us to watch the ocean around us. "An alarm on a sub is not a good thing" Cade stated. 'No shit, Sherlock' I grunted as I followed in after them.
"Why did he send us up here?" Vivian questioned in panic making Cade turn around to face her. "He got us up front so we die first" Cade shot back as I rolled my eyes. "They're behind us. With you two at the front, the damage will be minimal to your health" I stated, amused but also annoyed.
Next thing I knew a rocket shot right past the lower part of the hull, us three grabbing onto things for dear life as the ship began to rise. "Holly shit!" Cade yelled as the sub began to turn steeply.
"This wasn't part of the plan!" I exclaimed angrily as the sub went vertical, its path changing so it would hit the attack sub on our stern. "Both of you hold on!" I ordered the pair above me as I held onto the door frame.
"Why are we heading for them?!" Vivian screamed making me look at the glass to see that Yes, we were about to hit the sub that was previously tailing us. "Hold on!" Cade yelled as I cursed again, bracing for impact.
"Shaye!" Cade and Vivian screamed as I was flung past them, having lost hold of the metal frame and was thrown against the glass. Once my head and the rest of my body hit the glass, my turquoise eyes seemed to roll back before I regained consciousness and groaned, sliding onto my stomach on the ground. By now the sub had resumed its course.
"We're clear for now" Cogman's deep voice declared making me look up through a blurry vision to see him approaching Cade and Vivian who were laying on the floor, Vivian on Cade's legs. "hands off! There is a time and place for everything. This is not the time nor the place" He added, ripping Cade's arms off Vivian as she started to get up.
"Hey!" Cade growled as Cogman walked off to the firing part of the torpedo launcher. "Not now!" Cogman waved away, disappearing from view before he reappeared shooting through the ocean outside the sub.
"That little sicko just shot himself out like a torpedo!" Cade exclaimed, looking at Vivian and I as I sat up, a hand on the back of my head feeling through my short black hair. "I know! Is aw it" Vivian yelled back at him.
"Those are your peoples" Cade declared making me glare at him. "Be nice to her Cade" I growled at him making him sigh before he got up and walked over to me. "You alright?" he asked me as I grimaced, pulling my hand from the back of my head to my face where Cade and I could see the bright blue energon covering the pads of my fingers. "Shit..." We both muttered.
"What's wrong?" Vivian questioned comming over slowly with worry all over her face. "Jut hit the glass too hard is all. I'll be fine" I answered with a grunt as I stood up, covering the cut and moving past the pair.
"Is she alright?" I heard Vivian ask as I disappeared, looking for a private area where I could fix myself up. "Yeah, she's had worse" Cade answered as I found what I was looking for, a small sleeping quarters with two sets of bunk beds, an area for the occupants to place their belongings complete with a mirror on the wall at head height.
"Damn..." I muttered, cringing as I felt an icy sensation move from my bicep and move up my arm and neck to the cut where a small stinging pain occurred before my vision cleared and the pain left me.
"What the hell..." I groaned as I felt the cut, now finding the small gouge filled with a sort of sloid but gooey substance. Said information maid my eyes widen as I realised what it was, pulling my sleeve up at see that part of the guard emblem was now missing.
"That's...cool..." I breathed before jumping as Cade entered. "How's it looking?" He asked immediately jumping to my side and checking the back of my head like a father would. "Stop touching it. Im fine" I growled, moving away from him with a pout as he looked at me worried.
"It's covered in something" He breathed making me roll my eyes. "Its the Guard thingy, it slipped into it on my way here" I informed him watching his eyes widen in both alarm and awe. "Well, you wont bleed out now..."he muttered making me roll my eyes.
