Chapter 17

"Hey Shaye!" I heard Cade yell from another part of the ship. I groaned in exasperation before getting off the bunk bed and finding him looking at his talisman. "Is yours moving around your body like mine?" He questioned, the talisman moving from his midsection up to his neck before going to his back.

Pulling my sleeve up we both noted that mine was definitely not doing that and was still sitting in its spot on my arm peacefully. "Apparently not" I stated, Cade grunting in annoyance that his was and mine wasn't.

"Oh, I- Sorry" Vivian's voice spoke causing me and Cade to look up at her as she turned away from Cade and I, Cade having lifted his singlet again and observing the talisman move around his body again. "Oh god, I-I just got this thing that was moving around and it's, like, just moving alla round" Cade deadpanned as the talisman moved onto his stomach before seeming to go down his pants.

"Yeah, it seems to not be, um...If you'd...Its sort of slithery...Slipping from the arm to the..." Vivian stuttered making me chuckle at her obvious attraction to Cade, just like Cade's obvious crush on her as well despite his disagreement.

"Yeah, its coming down" cade gaped as the talisman corrected my previous statement and went into Cade's pants. "Its going down your pants there. Careful" Vivian warned worriedly. Cade seemed to realise what had just happened and dropped his singlet down quickly, looking at Vivian, "Oh...".

"And is it tight or gripping on?" Vivian asked making me chuckle even more at her curiosity. "It doesn't hurt but I don't know what it does. Its like some worthless alien junk" Cade spoke, using his famous phrase, 'Worthless Alien Junk'.

"I think the purpose...I think the...We'll find out what the purpose is. If...If you want to" Vivian stated with a shrug, not realising that it made the sentence seem more...seductive with the shrug.

Cade seemed to notice as well, just staring at her weirdly before everyone's attention was pulled by Cogman as he entered. "Cogman! What is...What is all this?" Vivian was the first to question as the humanoid cybertronian lit a candelabra with his own lighter.

"End of the world, I thought a meal, a last meal, would be in order" He answered before ordering the pair to sit down, myself having already chosen a chair near the mirror to sit on away from the lovebirds. 

"No Canoodling" Cogman warned Cade as he walked past the man and disappeared. "Wait, Cogman?" Vivian called out to him, not receiving a reply before she turned back to Cade. "Yep, My daughter would..." "So my grandma said..." Both started at the same time as I once again chuckled, having to place a hand over my mouth to muffle it.

"My daughter would love this" "My grandma would absolutely..."They both said before continuing on like that for a few seconds before they finally chose to let the other speak. "No yes, all the time" Vivian waved, having just said something about her grandma.

"What does she say?" cade asked curiously. ""Go on a date, get a boyfriend"" She answered making me almost lose my composure. "Is this a date" Cade gawked. "No. God, its not a date. No. Its- Its just that..." She stumbled before Cade breathed a, "Its romantic".

Both of them seemed to stare into the others eyes, myself starting to feel rather awkward watching them both, before Cogman re-entered with food. "Sushi A La Cogman!" He stated, placing two plates on the table, one each in front of the pair. 

"Wow! looks great!" Vivian spoke in awe as she observed the meal. "And for you, Ma'am" Cogman added, passing me a cube of energon making me grin in thanks. Cogman nodded before he once again disappeared down the corridor.

"What's that?" Vivian questioned making me slowly stop drinking my beloved cube and look at her. "Um...Energon..." I muttered, her eyes widening as she continued to eat her sushi, Cade also eating his and listening in. 

"Why re you drinking that? I thought only Cybertronians could consume that" Vivian stated making me pull the cube from my mouth and hum lightly. "Im a special case" I answered, Vivian seeming to be satisfied with that as she nodded and turned back to her Sushi.

-Time Skip-

"You are the first to see this ship since the dark ages" Cogman informed us. All of us were currently looking out the viewing glass to see an extremely large cybertronian ship settled along the ocean floor bed.

"That Talisman and Guard are the keys to unlocking this ship" Cogman added, gesturing his head to Cade and I as we stood behind him and Vivian. We all stared in awe at the large and weirdly beautiful ship before watching the middle part lit up slowly.

"The ship knows we're here" Cade deadpanned before the rest of the ship lit up with lighting. 'How's it going Stone?' I asked through our sibling bond, deciding to check up on him. 'This is so cool' I heard him mumble back in awe making me nod along even though he couldn't see it.

'Got that right' I breathed back as the sub moved through the broken ring part of the ship. "Woah..." Vivian trailed off in awe as the wall in front of us opened up and allowed us to enter into the ship easily. 

"Here we go" I spoke as the ship surfaced, bobbing slightly before it settled. "Let's go get this staff" Cade ordered, running back through the shirt and grabbing a shirt and beanie along with his gun. "Where's yours?" He asked me as I stood near the exit with Vivian.

"Stone has it" I answered, Cade nodding as Cogman joined us. "Ladies first" Cade stated, Vivian and I both glaring at him before I sighed in annoyance. "Fine" I grunted before climbing up the ladder and opening the hatch, leaving it open for the others beneath me.  

"What now?" Cade questioned as we all stood atop the ship, Stone and Bee having jumped into the water and now walking alongside us. "You're the last knight. You're the Earl's special guy. You figure it out" Cogman snapped back as he walked to the very each of the ship. 

"Alright then. Into the water" Cade stated, jumping in, Vivian and I following right after. "Let's go" Vivian called, pulling her arms against her chest due to the temperature of the water. It was chilly to say the least. 

Im not going in that water. My gears would be sucked into my main shaft" Cogman declared firmly making us all turn back with a 'Seriously?' look. To all of our satisfaction and surprise, Bee groaned and flicked the humanoid into the water easily making him cry out in surprise.

"Thank primus somebot did it" Stone praised Bee. Both of them had their weapons out and their lights on incase of an attack. "Now you're all on my shit list" Cogman growled as he surfaced beside me, Cade and I leading the pack with our own weapons out at the ready"
