Chapter 21

"Shadow!"

I grunted in acknowledgement at the annoying but thankful voice of Cogman and Vivian. "What happened?" Cogman questioned as he slid to my side, grabbing onto my wounded shoulder and continuing to apply the pressure it wasnt getting to it.

"Took a bullet for Vivian, The gaurd thingy hasnt covered it up yet so I may bleed out but lets hope not...Um...Optimus returned, took the staff and then ran off" I summed up, Cogman scoffing at the information.

"You let him get away with it?" He questioned with both disbelief and amusement. "Hey! It's not my fault! Im kind of stuck as a human right now" I exclaimed, punching his shoulder and making him chuckle at my raising temper. 

"Your stuck as a human?" vivian asked me, crouching beside cogman and looking at me in concern. "yeah, ever since the guard latche donto me I haven't been able to transform" I informed her making her hum.

"Have you really tried?" She pushed making me sigh in exasperation. "Yes! I did!" I snapped before crying out as Cogman applied way too much pressure resulting in me glaring red hot daggers at him.

"Only trying to keep you from dying, Ma'am" He commented sassily making me growl a warning at him. "let me ahve a look at it" Vivian commanded, gesturing to my left shoulder, the unwounded one. "Sure, go for it" I shrugged, wincing as Cogman had to move my wound to continue applying pressure.

I watched as she pulled my sleeve up, her jaw dropping slightly as she stared in awe at the Guard Thingy. Before I could stop her, she began to tap the Guard in certain spots as it held its solid form, almost seeming to glow where she touched it. She then begun muttering in Celtic, my brain too occupied by everything going on that I didnt bother to try and translate for myself.

Before I knew it, my body began transforming making me squeak in surprise whislt Cogman grabbed Vivian and pushed her away to avoid her getting crushed. "How in Primus's name did you do that?" I questioned eagerly, moving onto a pede and kneeling down so my helm was at their height.

"I-I dont know..." Vivian muttered as she stared at me with a new level of awe and creepyness. "Stop staring, you'll see me after everything's over and then you'll be stuck with me" I snickered, invisioning Cade and Her getting together in the future.

"Go and kick their asses, Shadow Prime" She grinned as she rolled her eyes at me. I chuckled before getting up, checking all my weapons were in top shape before pulling my shield from my back. 

I hummed in finalisation, approiving of my wepaons state before placing it back and going after my family. 'That was dramtic'  I heard in the back of my helm making me roll my turquiose optics at the familiar voice.

"Yes, well the day you get shot, come tell me about it" I snapped back amusedly making Primus laughed heartily. 'Doubt that will be anytime soon, dear Shadow' He spoke and I could just tell he was grinning like Cheshire cat. Tessa's favourite movie, don't ask how amny times I watched it.

'Anyway, I decided you may need some assistance in getting back to Cade, Stone, Bee and Optimus' Primus stated, clearing his "Throat" before a buzzing noise filled my processor making me have to grab onto the closest wall as I ran trying to find my way out of this metal maze.

'I've just givin you some information on your Guard Emblem. It can do some extroadinary things, you know' He informed me although I wasnt really listening as I delved into the new information. 

"Ooo...I can make copies of myself" I grinned before shaking my head and continuing on my mission. 'Use these abilities wisely, Shadow' He warned before I felt his pressense leave my helm. "Ok, enough chit chat" I muttered before deciding that walking was overrated and grabbed the new information about transversing.

Transversing is essentially what The Fallen did in Egypt and what I accomplished not even half an hour ago. I just had to really will myself to a certain position. Even to people and bots if I really willed it."Let's have a go" I smirked before thinking of my family. 

Cade, my "Adoptive" father who has basically cared for me since he took me in. Lennox, The strong and determined but still and afthole Military captain. Bee, the younge and adroable bot that reminded you of a puppy when he looked at you with hurt or begging optics. Stone, My older but younger brother who tried to offline me but switched sides and fell hard for Bee.

 And fianlly, Optimus Prime, the one and only bot who stole my broken and cracked spark. The bot who has not only made my onlining significantly better but has made me look forwards to the next day where I can see him again.

'Enough with the sappiness' I groaned before gasping lightly as i felt my surrpoundings change. Throwing my optics online, I landed right next to Cade as he landed at the bottom of a slope, Lennox falling into a room underneath us both.

"What the hell! Shadow?! Where did you come from?!" Cade yelled in surprise as he watched me transverse next to him. "Well, i know that works now" I muttered before focusing On Optimus, Stone and Bee fighting.

And of course, Bee was losing significantly, Stone actually landing several painful hits on the Prime as he tried to attack Bee whislt blocking Stone at the same time. "Let's go help shall we?" I asked Cade. "What the hell do you think we're doing here?" He grunted before crying out in surprise as a wave of water rushed through his feet, knocking him down and throwing him down the next slope.

"Cheater" I muttered before transversing to the bottom with my shield out where I bashed it against Optimus as he stood up, having been thrown away from one of Stone and Bee's combined punches.

"Leave them alone!" I growled, watching him slowly get up. "Get out of the way, femme" He growled back, his grip on his sword tightening. "Never" I firmly declared, Cade shouting a, "Shadow, Be careful" at me.

"Then you leave me no choice" Optimus stated, charging at me with his sword ready.
