"I didn't come here to hurt you people"

It had been over a week since Brooklyn had spent that evening with Negan and in the meantime she'd been helping out around the sanctuary where possible.
Fortunately, Brooklyn was now off her crutches and could walk and run, which gave her the perfect opportunity to put the plan that she'd been brewing up for days, in to action.
The girl wanted, no- she needed to go to Alexandria. She had to hear both sides of the story. Of course she believed Negan, but a small part of her was urging to find out more.
After that night, Brooklyn had hardly seen Negan as he'd been busy coming up with plans to attack Rick with. Though, there was a meeting that the boss had insisted she'd come to tomorrow afternoon. In fact, his exact words were, "tomorrow, 11:30am in the second floor meeting room. I wanna see your pretty face there sweetheart."
But first, she had some business to attend to. It was currently early morning and Brooklyn was in her room, stuffing a load of essentials in to her backpack. If Negan found out she was doing this, she was sure that he would not be happy.
"Bottle of water, check. Gun, check. Knife, check. Aaand map, check." She sang to herself, making note of each item.
Once she was ready, Brooklyn was off. A determined smirk took over her lips as she pushed open the heavy metal doors that led to the outside compound. There was nothing interesting going on, only the normal guards patrolling the gate, however, Brooklyn had a plan for those.
"Excuse me miss, what are you doing?" Asked one man, he was young, with a chiselled looking face and tough baby blues.
Brooklyn casually approached him, "oh hey," she beamed a toothy smile and placed her hands on her hips, "Yeah so I'm meant to scavenging for some minor supplies and-"
He held up a strong arm, hovering his other hand over the silver pistol attached to his holster. "I don't think so miss. I had no instructions about a supply run today."
"That's because Negan didn't want anyone to know. He wants me to get a certain something," she couldn't help but snicker as the guard seemed to be falling for it, "I can go and get him if you want. But he'd be pretty pissed off if he was interrupted from time with one of his wives-"
The man immediately nodded, unlocking the chain link gate that separated the sanctuary from the outside world. "Thanks!" She waved back, giddily skipping down the dusty path. Brooklyn knew she had a long way to go, but it would be worth it to see that pathetic little Alexandrian face.

Wincing, Brooklyn flipped the vizier down, blocking the blinding yellow light from hitting her eyes. She pressed her foot down on the pedal, accelerating faster through the winding country roads.
Luckily, the girl had been able to hot-wire an old car earlier and had been driving ever since, making the journey faster and therefore, easier.
A feeling of excitement bubbled up inside the pit of her stomach when the towering walls of her enemies' camp came in to view.
She pulled the vehicle to a stop, the rubber tyres rolling in to the mud before completely halting. She hopped out, taking her handgun out of the backpack and then swinging the blue bag on to her shoulders.
Brooklyn maliciously smirked, scurrying through the masses of green bushes and dead tree branches. She twisted her head, taking note of the single person stood up on the guard tower.
