"Dad I'm pretty sure Ahmir has 5 baby mamas and Im not gonna be the 6th"I said then walking away angrily to get ready for class.
--- -Caleb's pov- " So anything on the Shavón case yet"
"Nope" I said to my colleague David
"Dude I don't know this assignment just feels wrong" I said then taking a bite of my sandwich.
"Caleb Montgomery, Are you catching feelings?"
"No, I don't think so, I just need to get this done ASAP so I don't get attached."
"What does she look like" David asked

"Assignment must be giving you a hard time if ya know what I mean" He said moving our eyebrows up and down
"When isn't your mind in the gutter?" I said looking at him sideways
"Wait don't even answer that."
He then erupted with laughter. --- I was at my house watching TV and being a super bum when my phone lit up with Brianna's contact.
"Hello?"
"Hey Caleb I have a question"
"Mhm" I said getting up and going in my bedroom.
"How do you feel about attending a family cookout with me?"
"Wow um yeah that would be great" I said pulling out my files jotting down notes as she told me the address.
"Oh make sure you bring a swim suit" She said excited.
"Ok I'll see you there"
"Bye"

I put on a navy blue polo and ripped jeans and my white air force 1's and put moisturizer on my brown curls. I then grabbed my swim trunks and brushed my teeth one last time before I left my house. When I got In my car I made sure I had my badge and handgun just incase something goes wrong. About 30 minutes later I arrived at the house and I walked around to the backyard and everyone stopped and looked at me. Brianna then flashed me a smile and walked over grabbing my hand. "C'mon my father wants to meet you" She said nervously tugging at my hand for me to follow her.
"Daddy this is Caleb my new friend" All of a sudden this giant turned around and looked at me he had a huge scar across his eye.
"He's white" He said mugging me.
"Dad c'mon now"
Her dad then looked me up and down and mumbled something before walking away.
Soon she had introduced me to lots of people and we were having a lot of fun. Brianna's personality lit up the room and her pearly white smile was absolutely contagious and she was kind to everyone I really expected her to be stuck up and rude but she was so nice she wouldn't even let the maids do their job.
"BRIIIII!!" A screech was heard from across the lawn. Soon there was a petite girl with dark skin long straight hair running towards us.
-Brianna's pov-
"NAVEAHHH!!!" I screeched running to meet my best friend. We ran and jumped on each other causing us to both fall on the ground.
"Bihhhhh, where have you been?" She said as we both stood up.
"In school, I really need to be asking why I heard your ass was M.I.A then to find out yo ass is in Paris dressing like a thot ass mime and taking tours" I said jokingly fixing my hair.
From the corner of my eye I see Caleb walking up to us.
"Oh, Naveah I almost forgot this is Caleb, and caleb this is my best friend naveah."
"Hey nice to meet you" he said shaking her hand.
She stood there looking between the two of us and then said; "Y'all smashed yet or..."
This bitch has no filter.
"I'm not even gonna respond to your childish self" I said rolling my eyes as Caleb and naveah laughed.
Then something else caught her attention.
"Speaking of childish here comes ahmir" She said pretending to gag.
Ahmir was a child hood friend of mine, but I cut him off when he started hoeing around and breaking girls hearts, but my dad still can't seem to get the concept that ion like his goofy self centered ass through his thick ass skull and still proceeded to invite him.
"Hey bri" Ahmir sang in my ear and I saw Caleb tense up.
"Ahmir if you don't stop blowing your nasty booboonfuccboi breath on me I swear I'm gonna kick you in your area" I said getting upset
"Nah bae see you wouldn't do that bc, you wouldn't have none to ride later" He said pulling me to his waist.
"Bruh, she said she wants you to stop" Caleb said speaking up in a low husky voice.
I'm not going to lie that was sexy.
"And who the fuck are you" Ahmir said stepping up to Caleb.
"The dude who about to kick your ass if you don't stop touching bri"
"Man why don't you and your cracker ass get the fuck up out of here and stop ruining our fun." He said pushing caleb.
Caleb was about to jump on Ahmir before I stepped in. I looked over at Caleb and his eyes were darkened with anger. He then shook his head walking to his car and I followed.
"Where you going?" I asked
"Home, look text me later I just need to leave" He said kissing my forehead.
