I took the gloves off, and I forgot all about everything. I wasn't thinking, it was terrible. Ice shot against the wall, my mom was in the room, she looked up. Her eyes in shock.
"JACK!! GET IN HERE!!!!!!!!!!"
My father walked into the room. "What? ... Oh!? What happened."
"She has it, she has what you have! How?"my mother said.
"I don't have it anymore though!! I put it with my other guardians when I married you."
I was confused with this conversation, but I let them keep talking. "I couldn't have given to her, the only other person that could have is_". He walked up to me, " Honey.. Did you meet an old lady?"
"Yes." I said.
" oh my god. My mother.... She's gone. I can't believe she found Claire."
My father took me into the living room. He said he had to go and get his ice back so that he could help me. So he left.
I didn't know my dad had been a guardian, but no wonder he has to "go to work" a lot during winter. It makes sense.
I had the feeling, my life was about to change a lot. The worst part was, though, I didn't know if I was prepared.
