Chapter 2- Making it Official and Sectionals

Quick AN:// Sorry for the first few chapters being so long I think a bit needs to happen before the title of the story can make sense but stay tuned new people coming into the story soon... unfortunately haha

Also I feel like this story may have around 10-15 chapters I'm not totally sure yet because there is some details and fillers to go into the story

Two weeks of hard rehearsals from the Warblers in preparation for sectionals in just a few short days. Kurt began to grow more nervous. Something Blaine was always able to notice in Kurt was how he was feeling it was good it helped them feel more connected always knowing how the other felt and he knew he needed to be there for Kurt.

After rehearsals Blaine asked Kurt if he wanted to head with him to the Lima Bean in hoping he could get Kurt to talk a bit about what was going on and course Kurt happily agreed.

Once Blaine ordered both of them a coffee as he usually did they headed to a free table and he seen the sadness in Kurts face and knew he had to ask him something.

"Are you worried about going to see him again?". Those words made Blaine almost regret what he said thinking he couldn't get Kurt to talk after he said that.

Kurt looked up and gave a quick glance to Blaine before throwing back some of the still burning hot coffee down his throat. Kurt knew he needed to talk to someone and that Blaine was his best friend and he thinks his boyfriend he was still pretty confused on the whole situation but still Blaine was someone he could trust and someone he loved with his life and he wanted to open up to him about it.

"No, well no not just that I'm scared about everything". Blaine took a sip of his coffee allowing Kurt to just continue. "I'm scared that going back to McKinley is a mistake, I'm scared of seeing them at sectionals what if they don't want me back, I'm scared of messing up at sectionals, and your right I am scared of even seeing him again even after what happened, I'm scared...". Blaine knew he had to stop Kurt it looked like he was having a panic attack.

He just put his hands on Kurts calming him down before speaking. "You are amazing Kurt you know that"

Kurt just look at Blaine with a small smile in confusion.

"You have dealt with bullies your whole life and get your still standing here strong as ever not running away from your past but going back almost like getting a do over. I think maybe visiting him before going back to school could be a good idea. You have got to be kidding about your friends not missing you though they call and text you all the time they can't wait to have you back I'm so proud".

Hearing those words made Kurt let out a huge breath he didn't know he was holding making him feel almost whole again.

"and as far as it goes for not doing well at sectionals don't think you could ever let us down you have one of the greatest voices I've ever heard you couldn't let us down even if you tried".

With that Kurt just mouthed a thank you towards Blaine as they stood up hand in hand to head back to Blaines dorm to complete the last of their homework and do some test revision before the end of the week when they'd be heading to McKinley.

While cramming for their algebra test they had first thing tomorrow Kurt needed a break and with that he said the question he had been thinking for the past few weeks." What are we?".

That made Blaine freeze thoughts running through his head. He wanted to be with Kurt I mean he actually loved Kurt he felt bad not making it more obvious he looked to Kurt and knew to just be honest. That was another thing that they loved about each other no matter what they were honest about everything.
