The next morning Blaine and all the New Directions agreed to get to school earlier to finish their final rehearsal for Blaine's big plan. Everyone loved the idea however Blaine couldn't be more nervous and it was so obvious.

Mercedes notices the furrowed brow and and Blaines heavy eye lids and tries to give him a confidence boost about it. "Don't be nervous it will be worth it in the end to finally get Kurt back".

"You don't get it last night we were so close Mercedes, so close to be becoming at least friends again and then he left just right in the middle of the fireworks".

"Look Blaine I don't think you get how much my boy really loves you I mean he's going to be scared just as much about what to do between yous two it'll be fine. Now come on if we have any chance of having Finn nail this dance we need to keep practicing before school starts".

Mercedes and Blaine shared a quick hug and Blaine mouthed a sweet thank you. He thought to himself 'maybe this could work Kurt is my soulmate I want to do this for him' just then Blaine sees the auditorium doors open to reveal Kurt.

Kurt is obviously confused about why all of his friends from glee club are in here working on numbers with out him. Confusion turned to rage quicker than Blaine thought seeing it so clearly on Kurts face. Kurt just ran back out through the doors and Blaine agreed to talk to him.

Finally after trying to catch up with him he sees Kurt turn into the choir room and sitting himself in the middle of the piano bench. Blaine was debating leaving him to his own thoughts and it would save having to come up with some lie but just seeing Kurt there he would take any opportunity to talk to him.

"Penny for your thought?"

Blaine quickly glanced in Kurts direction realising Kurt seen him standing in the door way and Blaine must of been in a day dream of his own thoughts.

"You working on something there?" Blaine asked clearly seeing Kurt run his hands over the keys of the piano

"Yeah actually it was a song idea for regionals but I mean I would've used the auditorium but.." he cut himself off from talking about it when Kurt realised he shouldn't be the one explain himself "what were all of yous doing in there anyway?"

Blaine had tried to explain to Kurt he bumped into some of them at the Lima Bean on the way to school and some of them surprisingly got to school early so they decided just to come up with some ideas for regionals.

Kurt nodded with some understanding still somewhat mad and not fully believing what Blaine had told him. He looked up slightly to see Blaine shuffle beside him on the piano bench their hands touching over the piano keys caused Kurt to lose all sense of thought as he seen Blaine glancing at the papers on the piano just before Blaine choose to speak.

"This song really is amazing Kurt you need to write songs more often. Your really talented Mr Shue would be an idiot not to put this in the set list". "I can sing it with you just now if you like.. you know just for some practice see what it would sound like as a duet?"

Kurts gaze quickly went to meet Blaine's eyes almost looking to see if Blaine was about to tell him he was kidding or that the song was really bad but none of that showed on Blaine's face in fact he looked into those big brown eyes and seen love again instead of hurt of betrayal. Kurt just nodded his head slowly as Blaine began to play the notes on the piano belting out the first note.

Once the song finished Blaine gave a small peck to his cheek before standing up to leave. Just as he walked out the door he turned back to say to Kurt "see you at the game tonight, save me a seat?". Kurt gave a nod in response although he wasn't fully listening to what Blaine had asked. All that could go through his head was 'what have I done I pushed away someone I love, no. Someone I'm in love with and now it's too late'.
