The Slytherin common room was depressing in Jemmas opinion. It was located in the dungeons under the black lake and had a very unwelcoming vibe.Regulus had been the only one she remotely talked to,and that was just to annoy him.

It seemed to we working.

"I will not do your future homework."

"Please?"

"No."

"Your boring."

He looked at her to see a middle finger in front of his face.

"Please stop" He begged as they both sat in the common room. She shook her head vigorously with a sweet smile. "What do you think classes will be like tomorrow?" Jemma asked him. Tomorrow was the official first day of "magical education" as Dumbledore put it and Jemma was excited, unlike everyone else.

"Same as al-well,not for you. You've never been here" He said with a large smirk but flinched when she smacked him on the top of his head.

"I will pay you if you go away."

"No-how much are we talking?"

"Really?" He asked hopefully.

"No."

He sighed and went to get up but stopped when his robes were snatched and he flung onto the couch.

"You haven't answered my question, what do you think classes with be like?" She asked again still holding an iron grip on his robes.

He looked between her and the fireplace.

"I'm debating it,you know" He informed her with a flat look. "Aw,your so sweet" Jemma cooed sarcastically while patting his head and getting her hand swatted away.

"Classes are long, boring, and some even reaching the point of useless" Regulus said and Jemma smiled.

"You sound happy to be back" She pointed out a scoff was heard. It then went into silence and Regulus turned towards her with a serious look on his face.

"What's your blood status?" He suddenly asked catching Jemma off guard. "Are you one of the people who have a stick up there ass about blood status?"

"I'm not joking,Jemma."

"How the hell am I supposed to know? I was dropped off in a basket in front of a bar."

"Really?"

She nodded her head. "I was taken in by my half giant fathers. If it wasn't for them I'd be on the streets,I owe them everything."

"Half giants? Half bloods?"

"You got a problem with that?" Jemma asked glaring and silently daring him with her eyes.

Regulus said nothing.

"What's the big deal about what your blood is? So what you come from a line of all magic? Whoopty shit" She said casually and Regulus scowled. Not at her but the wall in thought.
