Interesting turn of events (Harry Styles Fanfic)

Chapter 4

*Hallie's POV*

Harry entered to the room, I was not expecting this.

I didn't say anything, I just stared at him.

"Look Hallie, I'm sorry for what I said earlier..." he said and sighed. 

"Why did you say that Harry?" I asked

"Um I don't know... I just think.." he stuttered "You're too good for him...I mean how can Niall satisfy a girl like you?"

I stayed in shock, what the hell was he saying? wasn't he suposed to be Niall's friend?!

"Wait, what do you mean??" I asked impatient, I was thinking to myself what did he mean with that...was he jealous?

"I don't know its just that...." he made a pause and sighed "I like you Hallie"

I couldn't help but stare at him in shock I mean, Harry Styles the man that gets any girl he wants, that always goes clubbing and snogs blonde bimbos likes me?

I shook my head trying to think clearly but I couldn't, I didn't know what to do...but I felt a tear going down my face.

"I'm sorry....I-" I stuttured "I love Niall"

I didn't even let him say anything, I just ran away from the room and then ran away from the house too, I noticed Niall and the boys followed me as well but I kept running, I just needed to be alone and think.

*Harry's POV*

I saw Hallie running I didn't run after her or anything, I thought it wouldn't help at all...

I felt terrible though, it wasn't my intention to make her cry.

I went downstairs, and apparently everyone noticed what happened to Hallie.

"Hey do you know what happened to Hallie?" Zayn asked worried

"Um, I kinda told her what I felt..." I said 

They all looked at me astonished and said "YOU IDIOT" 

I tried to explain things but they didn't let me "Oh shut up" Liam said and smacked me in the back of my head

*Niall's POV*

I saw Hallie running out of the house and crying; I didn't know what was going on so I followed her and ran after her, the boys , Ellie and Alex did too but when we got to the door we didn't see her... we didn't know where she was

"DAMN!" I screamed and shook my head

I was scared, I didn't know why was Hallie crying, I didn't know where she was this feeling was horrible.

I started to think where would she go in case something happened and she needed to be alone...and I remembered of one. The bridge. 

The bridge was a special place for Hallie and she used to go there when she was sad. I rememebered one time when we were 10, her dog Sally died and she just felt horrible so she went to the bridge to clear up her mind since its so calm and peaceful, it was one of her favorite places cause she could use it to think and just spend some time alone just enjoying the nature, she could listen to the water streaming and everything so I ran there quickly.

I wasn't wrong, when I arrived to the bridge I saw her. I went with her and pulled her into a hug, I didn't know what was going on but I was pretty sure she need a hug. I noticed she was freezing so I immediately put my Jack Wills hoodie around her.

"I'm sorry for all this Niall.. " she whimpered

"Sorry? for what?" I asked since I had no idea what was going on 

She sighed "Harry likes me...and you like me, I'm sorry I just- can't." 

I stayed in shock for a minute. what? Harry likes her now?! HE ALWAYS DOES THIS TO ME, IF I LIKE SOMEONE HE DOES TOO. ALL HE DOES TAKE ALL THE GIRLS I LIKE AWAY FROM ME. I was so upset, I clenched my fist and called Liam to tell him where we were.

After a few minutes they arrived and we all went into a group hug but then I asked "Where's Harry?" "home...why?" Zayn replied and gave me a confused look

As soon as he told me where he was, I ran there. Louis, Liam and Zayn ran after me, Ellie and Alex stayed with Hallie.

When I got to the door, I just started yelling at Harry.

"WHY DID YOU TELL HER YOU LIKE HER?!"  I yelled and punched him in the face, I was about to hit him again but Liam stopped me.

"I SAID THAT CAUSE I KNOW YOU'LL HURT HER NIALL" he screamed meanwhile holding his jaw with his hand

I stared at him and said "WHY WOULD I DO THAT?! I WAITED SO LONG FOR HER, MY PRINCESS, I WOULDN'T DO THAT" a tear fell. I yanked my arm out of Liam's.

Ellie, Alex and Hallie came into the door, I just ran up to my room. 

I sat on the bed and put my hands on my face, I was still in shock Harry could do this to me. I heard someone knocking the door.

I shook my head "GO AWAY" I said upset

"it's Hallie, open up" all I needed right now was her and only her so I opened the door for her, but then I closed it and locked it.

There was an awkward silence in the room, it was just like 5 minutes but she decided to break it. 

"I heard what happened, I know you won't hurt me Niall" she said and a small smile appeared on her face

I looked at her directly and put my hand on her cheek "You know I love you right?" she nodded.

All I wanted to do was kiss her so I came closer to her until our lips met. 

"Now can you apologize to Harry please?" she asked

"No" I replied and frowned

"Please, for me?" she said with a puppy face, and I couldn't resist 

"Okay, where is he?" I said

She smiled "in his room"

I went to Harry's room and knocked, he didn't open so I looked at Hallie

"Just go in" she said and I did, I opened the door and saw Harry holding his jaw. I went to him.

"Look, I'm sorry bro. I didn't want this to happen..." I said and sighed

"I know you didn't want this...you were just defending her, right?" he replied

A little smile came across my face and said "Right"

He got up "So we're okay now?" he asked

"Yeah, definitely" I said and we both hugged each other.
