Chapter 2 "Hello NewYork"

GRAY'S POV
"You think you can run away from me son" she said but I couldn't see her anywhere could only hear her voice, the voice of the woman who tortured me all my life. "Leave me alone I'm not your son you evil witch" I said while running deep into the forest not knowing where I was going, "don't said that about your mother" she shouted as I felt a sharp pain on my face and I flew and hit a tree I looked up and saw her but at the same time it didn't look like her then I looked back down but she lofted my chin up and whispered in a scary way "you thought you got rid of me, I thought you were smarter than that" then I felt something slice through my cheek and then blood was dripping down I pretended to be bold until I saw my father standing there calling me I tried reaching him but she got there first and raised him up and smashed him on the ground I heard my head not again then I shouted very loud... Then I woke on my bed sweating and panting and I got up and then to the bathroom I put on the water in the sink and washed my face then I looked up into the mirror and all the memories of my past came flooding back I shook my head and sprayed more water on my face and went into my room, it was 8 am "shit I'm late" I ran into the bathroom took a quick shower brushed my teeth and came out then took my usual work clothes consisting of a black Jean trouser, a grey shirt and black shoes with my armor straps around my right leg with my pistol placed in it then i picked up my phone and ran out into my car to work...
ALIYA'S POV
I ran downstairs and saw Adrian in the kitchenwith his mate Wren sitting on the counter both staring at me and my younger sister Adrianna sitting on her mate's lap Alec both of them staring at me they've both found their mates but I haven't at 26yrs a lot of people wonder how I'm still surviving but I'm pretty strong at heart maybe I'll find him in New York oh yeah New York I remember "stop staring at me like I'm mad my boss just called and said I've been transferred to New york" they all look surprised but I went on " so Adrianna leave Alec alone and come and help me pack no time to explain" then I walked out to my room leaving them speechless, well it is shocking. I got to my room well there's not much to pack but I gotta bathe "ADRIANNA!" I shout then I walk into the bathroom "yes, so where do we start from?" I hear a voice then I turn around and see ADRIANNA leaning on the doorway I smile and say "just pack everything into my black box from my wardrobe except from my black high waisted jeans trouser and..." "your usual work clothes" she said cutting me off I just smile and nod then she walks away while closing the door...

"Don't miss me too much" I say while hugging ADRIANNA with tears in my eyes then I let go and turn to Adrian and smile "my baby" I say then close my mouth to stop the tears from coming out then he hugs me "don't miss me too much" he says using my exact words and I laugh then I pull away and look towards wren "stop spoiling my rian, birdie" then I hug her "yes ma'am " she says in between laughs then I look around and say "where's Alec?" "He's at work he said he was needed there that I should tell you bye" ADRIANNA said "oh okay" then immediately I hear the sound of a car "that must be the cab, well bye" I say as Adrian carries my box "byyyeeee" they all echo then I open the door and go outside towards the cab Adrian puts my Box in the booth and then he comes to me I hug him very tight and say "bye" he replies and goes backwards while I enter the cab and roll the window down and wave, then the man drives off and tears run down my eyes this is the first time I'll be away from my family my only family but I don't have a choice....
