Hailee's POV
I walked out to my Escalade and started it up. It was a cool, crisp August morning in Nashville and I was getting ready to go workout when my husband ran out, opened my door and kissed me. We've been together for three years, we've got two beautiful children, Alex & Alecia, and a golden retriever, Brinkley.
"Thought you could leave without a kiss?" He asked, jokingly and kissing me.
I smiled and laughed a little while I kissed him back. "Maybe." I said, kissing him again.
I had married Dustin Lynch about two years ago in Tullahoma, Tennessee. We'd met through family and a few mutual friends at StageCoach 4 years earlier, we became friends after talking and then it just escalated into our marriage now. He was a rising country star at the time and now, he's climbing the charts as am I. We're both singers, I'm more of a pop singer but, I've tinkered with country music a little and I'm starting to love it.
He smiled and kissed me again for what seemed to be the thousandth time before letting me leave to go to the gym. As I drove up to the gym, I saw paparazzi standing and waiting. I sighed, got out of my truck, and walked into the gym, ignoring them. I did a HIT workout then walked back out to my truck, luckily paparazzi were nowhere to be found and I drove home. It was about 7:30 am so, I was able to make breakfast before the kids woke up and would eventually distract me. We had two children, Alex, who's two and a beautiful mix of Dustin and I both, he's got Dustin's hair and eyes and practically everything else from me. Then there's the princess herself, Alecia Skyrah. She was 5 and already evolving her style into a tomboy, just like her mama. She's her daddy's little girl though, that's for sure. Whenever she does something wrong, its me being the bad cop because her daddy will eventually give in and let her have her way. My thoughts of my little family were interrupted by the feeling of strong hands enveloping my hips.
I smiled as Dustin nestled his face in the crook of my neck. "Morning babydoll. Kids still asleep?" He asked, smiling into my neck. "Yeah, for about another 30 minutes. I've got the news on & coffee going." I smiled as he poured himself a cup & looked back at me. "Something on your mind, babe?" I asked, looking at him. "Yeah, you. Like usual. I'm actually enjoying it being just us in the morning right now like it used to be before the kids." I smiled, thinking back to those days. I loved those babies with all my heart & soul but, it was easier back then. Dustin slowly walked over, his muscles rippled with each move. He buried his face in my neck and slowly sucked on my neck, forming a hickey. I moaned and slowly pushed him back as Alecia ran downstairs. "MOMMA! DADDY!" She screamed. I shushed her since Alex was still asleep. "What's wrong, princess?" Dustin asked, getting down to her level. "Daddy, there was a unicorn in my room!"
Dustin's album, CURRENT MOOD, was blowing up in country music and I couldn't of been happier or prouder. My favorite had to be either "Back On It" or "State Lines", it was a toss up between the two.
I looked over and he was looking down at me, smiling. I smiled up at him as I pulled him in for a kiss. He truly was the love of my life and tonight...tonight was the CMT Awards and we were finally going as a married couple. It was our first event as a married couple and I was more nervous about that than telling him I was pregnant. I chose a red double slit skirt dress with my hair in curls, red heels and red lipstick, basically a walking, talking fire extinguisher.
Dustin walked into the hotel room, completely ready and looked me up and down. "I'm definitely seein red tonight, honey." He said, walking over to me and kissing me, resting a hand on the small of my back. I smiled, kissing him back. He was nominated for "Small Town Boy" and I couldn't be any prouder, that finally he was getting the recognition he deserved. He worked his ass off for 7, almost 8 years to get to this point and that night has finally come for him. He was wearing a plain white t shirt, black jeans, boots, his cowboy hat and a yellowish mustard colored jacket.
"You look so good, baby." I said, looking him up & down. I laughed a little as he spun around so I could see everything. "So good that I don't really even wanna leave this room." I said, smirking and kissing him again.
We left and I let him get a few photos by himself until he pulled me to his chest and the photographers went crazy. I blushed almost as red as my dress and hid my face in his chest until I stopped laughing long enough to get a few photos with him. I placed a hand on his chest and leaned into his side for the first one. The next one, I had my hand on his shoulder and smiled.
He sadly didn't win but, I was determined to tell him about the baby. We got back home, I slipped out of my shoes and went to the bedroom. Dustin followed me and helped me out of my dress. I pulled the two pregnancy tests out of my nightstand drawer and held them up as he turned around.
"Are you serious?! This is amazing, babe!" Dustin said, smiling & kissing me.
"Really? You don't think its too soon?" I asked, smiling and kissing him back.
"Not at all, I always wanted a third, I just didn't know if you did but, I'm so happy about this, honey." He said, holding onto my waist and kissing me again. "You looked so gorgeous tonight, sweetheart." He had a smile on his face ten miles wide and so did I. I loved talking about us, and the kids tonight. It felt good to finally have it out there.

I: So, Dustin, we know you're nominated tonight but, we've also taken notice that you've got a gorgeous woman on your arm tonight. Who is she to you?
Dustin smiled and looked over at me as I nodded and smiled.
Dustin: This, Entertainment Tonight, is my beautiful wife, y'all might know her from a little movie called 'Pitch Perfect 2' but, her name, is Hailee Steinfeld. She's actually the reason I'm here, other than the fans of course.
I: Dustin, that's so sweet, now, we've gotta ask, how long have you been married and why keep it from the world? I mean, normally, people when they get married want the whole world to know but, you two didn't. Why is that?
Dustin looked over at me and I leaned in to talk.
Hailee: Its just one of those things that we wanted to keep private for awhile, because, for me, being out in the public eye, things can get misconstrued or turned around so, having it be just us and now, our two babies for awhile was what was right at the time. But, now, we're ready to have this out in the open and share it with everyone. Its been two incredible years and I couldn't imagine being with anyone else, he truly is my best friend.
I: Well, I think I speak for everyone here when we say congratulations and good luck tonight, Dustin. You two look incredible by the way, one of the hottest country couples that we've seen tonight, can't wait to hear more from you two.
We thanked them and walked into the ceremony, we found our seats after noticing they were right next to Lauren & Thomas. We chatted with them and the guys of FGL whom I had just recorded "Let Me Go" with and their wives for awhile until the show started.
....... That's it for now! What happens now that its all out there??? Stay Country, y'all!.....
