A fake smile and a laugh
I give
While uncontrollable fear rises up in me
It bubbles and bursts
While I assure
That nothing is going on in me
That my body is fine
And my mind is strong
While every little misery all bursts through the cracks in my skinMy body is broken
My mind destroyed
But everyday I raise my head
And look at myself in the mirror
Promising that today is the day I will be loved
That today is my dayBut every day I lie and cheat
To hide my every flaw
To hide my pain and misery
To make it disappearBut it stays
Hiding in my skin
Until I crawl over the floor
Trying to catch my breathAmong people I am alone
Among friends I never tell
Among family I live in silence
Until it is finally my turn to speakI will never love
I will never hate
I just am
And that is all I shall ever be
Until I will meet the one who will lift me from my misery
Until my eyes will find you and only you
For you are my saviorPlease take these broken pieces
And create a work of art out of me
Make me loved and happy
Then I will love you till eternity
