Spiderman and The Avengers: Life's Not Easy

Chapter 1.

Chapter 1: A Prank Gone Wrong....

     Sitting atop of a building decked in red and blue spandex is a friendly neighborhood Spiderman typing away on what looks like a hand made computer with a Com link. Only a few blocks away at the secret home of a certain eye patched Shield member was a certain pup wearing a red halter and cam recorder is making her way through the vents of said house.

   "Ness. Stop and catch the clip on your halter on that loose nail there in front of that hatch."

    Ness listening to her Master's orders having been trained for this task did as asked effortlessly. With her means of getting in and out secured she pushed down on the hatched and jumped.

    Watching from his computer Spiderman reacted hitting the right button to release the rope hidden in the clip of Ness's halter.

    "Careful there Ness. We only get one shot at this and we can't mess it up. I know you're excited and I am too. Just hang in there and I promise to give you half of my breakfast in the morning along with yours."

   Huffing Ness made her way into the Pirate's room. Unzipping her doggy bag Ness piled out all of the supplies needed for this plan to work. Zipping it back up she sat down and waited for her next orders.

   "Let's have some fun now shall we?"

Peter's POV

     "Hey Pete what's up?!" a very excited Ned asked waking his friend up from his daily nap between classes with a slap to his shoulder.

      Peter sat up with a jolt and quickly tried to calm himself before his Spidey Senses took over.

      "Ned!" Peter hissed, "you know better than to just wake me up like that!"

        Ned simply looked down at his feet finding the ground to be very interesting at that moment.

        "Well about that... I-"

        "I had him wake you up." A certain brunette but in. "You shouldn't be needing to sleep. I recall a certain someone say that they were taking a break from patrols for the night."

       Peter winced. How was he going to talk his way out of this... He couldn't tell them what he had really been doing. Then he'd really be in trouble then.

     "Well you see MJ..." Peter trailed off.

      Could you blame him though? He had nothing to go off of. Not to mention his girlfriend was already mad at him for missing school the day before.

      "What were you doing Peter?!" MJ interrogated.

      "She's got a point Peter. You didn't break your promise did you?" Ned asked while shuffling his feet.

       At this point Peter was about to give up. He ran through everything he did the day before. Waking up, talking with Aunt May, watching the news, 'finding' the code for AI- wait, that's it!

      "I was working on a personal project pretty late last night."

       Ned and MJ looked skeptical. Peter hadn't done a lot of science or studying since he became Spiderman. Luckily Peter was only half lying. That couldn't hurt too much.
