Monday. Bet, Flash has told his friends. And posted it on his social media and stuff. Cuz once I got in the school everyone stared at me and followed me to my locker.
As I was trying to walk to class a few kids stopped me. "I can't believe your the Isabelle Maximoff." One of them said.
"How do u use your powers" Another asked.
I tried walking the other way but the two girls from last week stopped me. "Weren't u the reason for that incident in Sokovia?" The red haired girl asked.
Memories from last year popped up in my head. No. No!
What happened in Sokovia is my fault and that incident haunts me.
"I heard she killed some people." "Shut up!" I said.
"I also heard you had a brother" The brunette said.
I was trembling and my heart was racing I tried walking back and I fell to the ground.
"How come you're not in jail for what u did?" They asked.
"If she has a brother, who is he" Someone else asked from the crowd.
"Maybe he died or left somewhere?"
I couldn't really breath and now nightmares and memories flew in my head. I sat against the wall and covered my ears.
"Shut up! Shut up" I said covering my ears. I was trying to catch my breath and stop trembling but I couldn't.
This has never happened before. I dont know what it is.
People started circling around me watching me sit there and freak out. I shut my eyes still covering my ears with my knees to my chest.
Then I hear Liz. "Isabelle? Are u alright?" She asked.
I shook my head. She was gonna hug me or something but I said, "don't touch me"
Liz then backed up away from me.
"Is it cuz we mentioned Sokovia?" Someone asked.
"Stop mentioning it. Don't mention my brother. Just stop" I said but it didn't stop.
Then I felt a hand on my knee. I opened my eyes and see Peter.
"Calm down. Calm down. It's alright. Breath" He said. I uncovered my ears and put them down slowly.
"Let's take u to the nurse" He said but I just sat there. "It's all my fault" I whispered and he shook his head.
"Sokovia isn't your fault. And neither is your brother's death" He said and I finally caught my breath. My heart slowed down and I stopped trembling.
"Do u want to go to the nurse?" He asked and I shook my head.
He sat next to me and then hugged me. And I hugged back. "I don't know what happened. Peter do u know what happened to me?" I asked and he shook his head no. We pulled away from the hug and he stood up.
"Ok. Let's take u to class." I said and he picked me up from the ground and we walked to class with people staring.
"They have more questions." I said and he nodded. "But just ignore them." He said.
"That's gonna be hard" I said and he sighed.
"I have to go" He said and I nodded. He squeezed my hand and walked away and I entered my class.
I sat down and see Michelle came in the room and sit next to me. "Are u ok? I heard what happened" She said and I nodded.
"Yea I'm fine. But I just need to go home." I said and rubbed my face.
"U going back home?" She asked. "Yea. But ima go somewhere after school." I said.
"Where?" "Just gonna get something to eat and drink and talk with someone" I said and placed my arms on my desk and laid my head on them.
"Ok. Let me know if u need anything. U have my number" She said and I nodded.
School day went very slow. I sat alone at lunch not really in the mood to sit with anyone. Then after school came and I walked to the deli shop Peter took me. I came here everyday after school so I could eat and not go home to see my sister, Steve and Sam.
"Hey Mr Delmar" I said with a sad smile. "Hello Ms Maximoff" He replied.
"U getting the usual?" He asked and I nodded. "Number 7"
"But can u remove the cheese?" I asked and he nodded.
He looked at someone behind him who nodded and got to work on my sand which.
"U look upset. What's up?" "Nothing. Just things at home." I said and he nodded.
"Family is important. Remember" He said and I smiled.
He then gave me my sandwich in a bag and paid him. "Thank u Mr Delmar." I said with a smile.
"No problem. Be careful out there" He said and nodded as I walked out.
The next stop is Starbucks. I got a strawberry açaí and a cookie dough cake pop.
Once I got what I needed to eat and drink, I got a cab to the avengers tower.
I think I need to tell Tony about what happened in school and ask what's wrong with me. Cuz that has never happened before.
Tho, it could have just been a one time thing. I walked into the Avengers tower and walked around looking for Tony.
"Hey Happy. Do u know where Tony is?" I asked Happy.
"He just left" He said and I gave him a confused look.
"What?" I ask. "Yea. Look" He said and gave me his tablet and I watched what was on the screen.
The ferry was split in two and Peter was hanging in the middle grabbing two webs that were attached to both pieces of the boat.
"What the fuck" I said and Happy grabbed the tablet from my hands.
"Yea. But I'll tell Tony u stopped by" He said and I nodded.
I walked out and sighed shaking my head. "What is this kid thinking?" I asked myself and walked back home. - A/n: Hey everyone! Haven't done these in a while. Anyways I hoped u enjoyed the chapter. And also, I'm changing the title of this story and cover.
It'll be called "Timeless" and the cover has just a few more things since it felt empty to me. So yea, hope u like the cover and title.
