"I'm sorry, I-I Didn't mean to yell at you," Roman said, keeping Virgil in his grip, "I'll be fine. Just get us home" Virgil said, wiping his face. Roman nodded and sighed as he pulled back onto the road.

Once they got home, Virgil ran to his room "Virgil?" Logan asked, knocking on Virgil's door. "Go away, Lo..." Virgil said, his voice broken "Virgil, let me in. If you don't I'll get Patton to guilt trip you" Logan said, knocking again. Virgil groaned as he opened his door for Logan and sat back on his bed and Logan sat beside him. "You've been acting strange lately. You got mad at Patton, you shut out Roman the only boy you've ever really liked. Is there something you want to tell me?" Logan said, Virgil looked away and gulped "n-no." he muttered "Maybe I should rephrase that. Virgil, tell me what is going on." Logan said with an ice-cold stare. "You won't believe me," Virgil said, tears starting to roll down his face "You won't know if you don't tell me," Logan said, his stare softening to a concerned look. "I-I don't want to. I'm afraid to." Virgil muttered, bringing his knees to his chest. "Would you open up to Patton?" Logan asked, rubbing Virgil's back. "No! I can't, Logan! I'll-I'll gets hurt..." Virgil said, choking back tears. "Virgil...from the information I have, it seems you're in an unsafe situation and I cannot ignore that," Logan said with concern "Yes, you can. And you will. Because my lips are zipped." Virgil said He did want to tell Logan. But, what if Keith found out? What would happen if he did find out? "Fine. But, I know who will talk. Roman." Logan said, getting up. "What makes you think he knows anything?" Virgil asked, standing in front of his door. "You tell him everything. Except for the fact that you like him." Logan said, trying to get around Virgil "Plus if he didn't know anything, you wouldn't be stopping me from getting to him." Virgil sighed "You don't need to ask Roman about my love life-" he covered his mouth " 'Love Life'? Virgil, I'm serious, tell me what's going on or I'll get Roman to tell me." Logan said, placing a hand on Virgil's shoulder. Virgil moved Logan's hand off of his shoulder "Look, I can't, Lo. So, please, leave me alone and get out of my room." Virgil said, a slight growl in his voice "Virgil...What is going on between you and Keith?" Logan said Virgil's eyes flashed with a look of hurt as he held back tears. "Get out, Logan. Please." He said, trying not to let his voice break. "Virgil, l understand-" "NO. YOU DON'T! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT MY WORLD LOOKS LIKE!" Virgil shouted, his voice breaking as he fell to the ground in tears. Logan sighed "Patton! I need your assistance!" he yelled out Virgil's door as he sat beside him. "you are correct. I do not know what this world looks like from your point of view, Virgil. But, I need you, to be honest. Please." he said in a calming voice "Keith...He'll hurt me if I tell you..." Virgil stuttered. Patton ran in "What-" he stopped seeing Virgil is tears. "Kiddo, what's wrong?!" he asked, hugging Virgil tightly "I've been trying to get him to answer that for an hour," Logan said. Patton signalled for logan to leave and Logan nodded, leaving the room "Kiddo? Roman told me." Patton said, rubbing Virgil's back. Virgil froze "what? Why? I-I don't-' he stuttered "Before you get angry at him, I sorta guilt-tripped him into telling me" Paton admitted "Patton...I-I have to go." Virgil got up and ran out of his room and out of the house.
An hour later
Roman, Patton, and Logan sighed in defeat. it was close to 9 pm and there was no sign of Virgil. Not until they heard an ear-piercing shriek that they all recognized
~Flashback to 7 months ago~ (Here comes some slightly detailed violence, so, If you have a trigger I would skip this part)
"Tony!" Virgil yelled "p-please! Don't hurt me!" Roman, Logan, and Patton did not hear Virgil. tony took the metal bar that he had and BAM he fled. There was that shriek, all the others rushed to Virgil's room. There lay Virgil, unconscious, barely breathing, and a large cut down his forehead
