~Truth Time ~Part Two

When I got to Ratliff Parent's beach house I park the car and went and knock on the door.And waited for Ratliff to answer.

~The Beach House~

I was just getting out of the bathroom when I heard someone knocking at the door so I walked to the front door and open it and saw Riker standing there.

"Hi Riker come on in",Ratliff said as we walked into the living room and sat down.

"So Ell what is going on dude? Why did you and Kelly break up?"Riker asked

"Well because I just found out that Kelly slept with someone else and cheated on me. And then I was honest with her about what is going on with me.",Ratliff said

"Okay Ell what is really going on with you. Because you still don't look yourself.",Riker said

"Well after me and Nikki we locked in the basement we did a lot of yelling and crying and then I did something I should of done a very long time ago. I kissed Nikki and I felt my whole world go upside down. Then we talked some more and we did finally get some what of a closer. She told me things that really hurt me. I guess when I left Nikki standing in our old drive way and stop talking to her. She was a mess .She did things that she would never even though about. Riker dude she started cutting herself to relive the pain. And with each memory of me and her she would cut .And then the last straw was when she got the letters back that she sent me.When I got them I would put return to sender. Well anyways she was home alone when she did the final cut and when her mom came home she found Nikki and they took her somewhere to get treatment and while she was in there she took up writing and singing.Then when she got out of high school she came out here because of the record label.Riker you have no idea how bad I feel right now.Because I knew deep down inside that Nikki was the person I was to be with for the rest of my life .And now she pretty much don't trust me.",Ratliff said

"Wow Ell I never knew how bad it was.I was just going by what you were telling me.But it is just going to take time to earn back that trust with Nikki . Her is a thought why don't you ask Nikki if she still has those letter's she sent you and ask her if you can have them and read them.",Riker said

"Yes I could but I am not sure Nikki would let me have them now. And to be honest am a little scared to ask her about them to have all those flashbacks come back to her about cutting.But I really need to read them.I will text her and see if she still has them.And you are right about me earning back the trust. Which am going to do my best to win back .Because Riker I really do want my Nikki back .",Ratliff said

"That is a great idea . So what do you think you are going to do if she said that she does have those letters?",Riker asked

"Am not really sure I might come back long enough to get them and come back here and read them.",Ratliff said as I took out my phone and text Nikki

Ratliff: Hi Nikki I was wondering if you are busy right now ?

I hit the sent. But now it is a waiting game now.

"Okay I sent the text now let see if she answers back.

~Back at Nikki's House~

I was on the love seat still reading the scrip when I hear my cell beeping which means I have new text message.

Nikki:Hi Ellington yes am kinda busy reading a scrip . What is it you need?

Ratliff: Oh what wait what scrip ? And I needed to asking you something.

Nikki:Okay what is the question you have to ask? And the scrip is for Criminal Minds.

Ratliff:I was wondering if by chance you have all those letters you sent me back then? And you are working on the show Criminal Minds now?

Nikki:Yes am thinking about working for Criminal Minds .I just got a scrip today. And yes I still have all the letters I sent you why do you ask?

Ratliff:Because I was wondering if I could have them to read them please? And do you think you are going to take the job on Criminal Minds?

Nikki:Yes I am thinking about it. And I like the scrip then I will let my manager know on Monday and I will be put into the reading. And Yes you can have the letters.When do you want to get them?

Ratliff: I will be back in town shortly.I can pick them up.And that is good about the job if you take it.I will see you in 10 minutes.

Nikki:Okay see you then .

~Back at the Beach House ~

"Riker you want to to come with me while I go to Nikki's house to pick up the letters?",Ratliff asked

"Yes I will go with you to pick up the letters.",Riker said as we got up and grab the keys and our phones and locked up and headed back to Nikki's House.

"Well you are going to have a lot to read tonight when you get back to the beach house.",Riker said

"Yes I am because I don't remember how many that was sent back to her . But I will soon find out.",Ratliff said

~Nikki's House~

I put my scrip down and went upstairs and went into my office and went to the closet and grabbed a box that was mark Ellington's Return letters and I went back downstairs. I wonder if he told Kelly about what happen between us yet? But I am not sure what to thinking about the whole thing.I don't really no how to feel anymore since I put what feels like a wall around my heart.

*Knock Knock*

I got up and walked to the door and saw that it was Ellington and Riker .

"Hi Guys . Ellington here is the letters you were asking for .",Nikki said as I handed Ellington the box with the letters in it.

"Thanks Nikki. I will let you get back to what you were doing. Have a good rest of the evening.",Riker and Ellington said as we turned and headed back to the car.

Now I better get back to my reading.

~Beach House~

We pulled into the drive way and I was the only one to get out.

"Riker you not coming in?",Ratliff asked

"No I need to head to the house but you take all the time you need Ellington. We will see you when you get back.",Riker said

"Okay Riker thanks again",Ratliff said as I grabbed the box from the back seat and walked to the front door and unlock it and went inside and sat down on the love seat.
