What do you do? You're a total outcast.
How do you do it, as if your life's fading fast?
You take a step forward,
But it feels like three steps back.
Nothing is changing,
And the pain begins to stack.
You feel like a failure,
But you continue to try.
Every rejection, every laugh,
Just makes you want to cry.
You try to fit in,
Yet it just makes it worse.
And all you can wonder,
Is how to lift this curse.
It's a dread on your life,
Because you're a little odd.
All the critical eyes stare at you,
From thier judgmental hateful pod.
Who cares if you're different?
You freshen the meaning.
I can see the direction in which you are leaning.
Don't change who you are,
Although it's not easy to do.
Just be yourself,
Only you can be you.
