Jade and I hopped out the jeep and walked into her house. As I was walking to the living room, she grabbed my arm and pulled me into the kitchen. "I need to tell you something, but not around my family," she whispered because she knew her family was sitting in the next room. My mind was going crazy. What's going on? Why can't her family know? Am I going to have to move back home? I snapped out of it and nodded. She grabbed a bag of chips and a sprite, and I decided to grab a root beer. We walked into the living room, heading towards the staircase. "So you took Alex to meet the Strombergs?" Her mom asked. We both turned around and I looked at her. She was sitting on the couch next to Mr. Reynolds and Max was in her lap asleep. "Yeah, we all got along fine," Jade answered and continued to walk up the stairs.
We kept walking down the long hallway until we took a left into a big open room. This must be the bonus room, I thought. There was a foosball table in the back left corner, a leather sectional to the right, a plasma tv mounted above a fireplace across from the couch, and there were bookshelves filled with video games and books. We took a seat on the couch after turning on yet another episode of Treehouse Masters. It was actually an interesting show I've began to like after being with Jade. She opened her sprite, a click and a fizzy sound filling the room. I did the same with my root beer and waited her to tell me the news. Jade cleared her throat and began to talk, "I think I like Keaton." I looked over at her with a stupid smile on my face. I laughed a little and she looked confused. "Why are you laughing?" She questioned. "I kind of already guessed that. Just from today at the diner and the beach," I responded. "And he told me he liked me today before you and Wesley got back inside. I was shocked," Jade said with a smile. "You guys would be adorable together," I told her. I was really happy for her, Keaton seemed like a sweet person, much like his mother. She blushed at my comment and her smile faded. "What's wrong?" I asked noticing she looked concerned. "Do you... you know... like Wesley?" She quietly asked. I had to think about this. He was nice at the diner, but he was witty. He was very attractive and gave great hugs. At the beach he held my hand but then scared the living mess out of me. Honestly I had no clue. "I'm not sure," I answered. She smiled and then we sat in silence watching the tv.

After a few episodes of pointless tv shows, I decided to go to sleep. It was already 2 am and I was worn out. It was a great day, but I needed sleep. The time difference didn't help either. I collected my things, told Jade what I was doing, and headed out the door. I walked past three doors and finally made it to the room I was staying in. I was tempted to just crawl in the bed and pass out, but I decided to change. I grabbed a marvel tee and a pair of sweats. I changed into them, leaving my clothes from today in a pile on the floor. I climbed into the comfortable queen bed and fell asleep.
Wesley's POV.
After Jade and Alex left I grabbed a snack and watched a movie in the living room with Keaton and Breezy. I got bored of the movie after a while, so I got up and went to my room. I wasn't tired yet, but there isn't much to do around 2 am. I walked over to my desk chair and spun a few times before feeling like I was going to be sick. I sat it out and then pulled out my phone. I had a missed called and text message from Jade. The text read, *I need to ask you something, but I don't want there to be any proof of it anywhere so we'll need to meet up.* I sighed after reading it. I texted her back, *ok, when?* She replied almost instantly, *now. Come to my house.* I got up, put a shirt on, and walked out of my room. I walked down the stairs and told Keaton and Breezy where I was going.

I pulled into the familiar two story home. I got out of my mustang and walked to the front door. I knocked and the door swung open. I was greeted by Mr. Reynolds, "Hey Wesley, did Jade ask you to come over?" I nodded and walked in. This place is basically my second home, I had come here so often when I was younger and I still do. I walked up the stairs and down the familiar path until I got to Jade's room. I was about to knock but I saw Jade's head peek out of the door to the bonus room. I changed directions and walked into the room.
"So what's so important I had to come over at 2 in the freaking morning?" I grumbled. "It's about Keaton," she started. My eyes grew wide. Does she like him? Is she actually telling me this? Did Keaton tell her he liked her? "What about him?" I asked. "Well you see, I kind of... like him. And I swear if you tell him or anyone I will kill you Wesley Stromberg, you hear me?" She asked threateningly. I nodded. "He likes you." She blushed. "I know that Sherlock." I rolled my eyes and got up to leave. "Wait!" She grabbed my arm and sat me back down. "Do you like Alex?" I thought about it. I saw her as a friend, but she was great. She was extremely kind and she was sarcastic. She was really pretty too. "Yeah I think. I don't know," I told her. She smiled and dismissed me.

After returning home, I groggily walked up the stairs and walked down a few feet until I reached my room. I took my shirt off, kicked my shoes into some corner of my room, and jumped on the bed. I was tired at this point. It was 3 am and I hadn't rested at all. Before I could get under the covers, I was asleep.
