Wesley's room smelled just like him. I wasn't too tired yet so I sat down at his desk chair and scrolled through twitter. I was starting to get tired after a while so I opened my bag and realized I had forgotten pajama pants. I didn't want to sleep in jean shorts so I looked in Wesley's closet and borrowed a pair of sweats, hoping he wouldn't notice in the morning. I slipped them on and they were kind of loose on me. I dealt with it and climbed into bed. I decided to text Wesley, since we haven't in a while, *Goodnight Wesley. See ya in the morning (:* He replied a minute later, *miss you Alex. night :)* After I read his text, I put down my phone and fell asleep.

I woke up to movement around me. I quickly opened my eyes and looked around. I couldn't see because it was pitch black. I reached to turn the lamp on and I hit my hand on the table. I wheezed in at the sharp pain, but turned the lamp on anyways. I saw I was in Wesley's room and he was sitting at the end of the bed. He had the biggest smile on his face looking at me. His smile, that smile. That boy had a nice smile, is all I could think about. "Good morning sleepy," he said. I smiled at the sound of his voice, having not heard it in a while. I yawned and he laughed. "Morning. How was Sequim?" I asked. "It was nice as usual. Keaton missed Jade a ton and stuff.... And I missed you. But are those my sweats?" He quickly changed the subject. I looked down and my cheeks flushed. I had forgotten I was wearing them. "Uhhh.. No. Well yes but-" I was cut off by Wesley, "don't worry about it. I have more, you can keep those," he said. "Uhm sure," I said getting out of the bed. He stood up and gave me the biggest hug I have ever had in my life.

Wesley's POV

I squeezed Alex so hard, I'm surprised she didn't explode. I missed this girl way too much. She smelled like me from sleeping in my bed, but I didn't care. I held her for a solid minute before she wiggled out of my arms. "Okay, I think that's enough Wesley," she said. "You know you can call me Wes. It's not a big deal, I mean we're friends," I told her smirking. "Yeah well I happen to like the name Wesley," she said sticking her tongue out. I smiled and laughed a tiny bit. "I'd say we could go downstairs and watch a movie but I forgot it was only 4 in the morning and people are trying to sleep. I'm sure Keats is downstairs trying not to bother his girl," I said. She smiled and moved me out of the way. She got her phone charger out of her bag and looked around the room. I took the charger out of her hand and plugged it in near the desk. "Where's your phone?" I asked her holding the charger. She handed it to me and I plugged it in. The screen lit up, saying it was charging, and I noticed her background was a picture of us together at the diner the first time we met.

"I like your background," I told her, smiling. "let's see yours," she said. I pulled out my phone and handed it to her. She pressed the home button and the picture came up. It was a picture I took of her when she was laughing as we ate funnel cakes on the boardwalk. She had a little powdered sugar on the side of her lips and a few crumbs in her hair. This was when I knew I was in love with her. She wasn't "perfect" but she was amazing. I think Alex began to get embarrassed because she blushed and handed me my phone. I just stared at her smiling, thankful she moved here so I could meet her. I had girls before, but they weren't really anything as special as Alex. "I like it," I said. "Like what?" I pointed at my phone, "the picture. Of you. I like it," I told her. She smiled, "it's alright."

I pulled her into another hug and we just stood there in eachother's arms. She had her head on my chest and I rested my head on hers. I could only think of a few words for a while. "Alex," I began, "I think I'm in love with you." I told her. She pulled away. "are you sure?" She asked hesitantly. "Of course. I don't lie about that stuff," I reassured her. She smiled and kissed me on the cheek before I grabbed her arm. "Alex, listen. I still don't know how you feel about me and I just told you I loved you. So tell me the honest truth about how you feel about me," I demanded in the sweetest tone possible. I heard her sigh. "Wesley, I like you. And I'm not sure if I'm in love with you or I just love you. I definitely like you more than a friend if that makes sense?" She half-asked. I nodded and kissed her. I kissed her like I did that night I told her I liked her on the boardwalk. That time was a little better scenery, near the ocean, music playing, and the sun shining. This one was in my not-so-clean room that smelled like sweat while we stood next to my desk. But I'd take it over any kiss with some other girl any day.

Keaton's POV

Wes had been upstairs for about an hour now, making it 5. I decided to go upstairs and see Jade. I walked up the stairs, trying to be quiet. As I passed the first door, I heard Alex talking about a condo. I assumed she was moving out of Jade's place, so I continued to my room. I opened the door slowly and walked in. Jade was still asleep on the left side of the bed curled up into a ball. I put my suitcase down on the ground near my desk and sat up on the right side of the bed. I didn't want to wake her up so I pulled out my phone and waited.

Another hour went by and I decided I had enough waiting. I got off the bed and pulled the covers off the bed and ran to the light switch to turn it on. "JADE IM HOME!" I yelled, not caring who I woke up. She moved around for a second before opening her eyes, and then wiped the sleep out of them. She looked around until she met my eyes. I smiled the biggest smile I could and walked to the bed. She smiled as she got up and jumped into my arms. "Keaton I missed you so much, you have no idea!" Jade exclaimed while still hugging me. I kissed her forehead, "Jade I missed you more than you missed me and I can guarantee that. I love you," I told her softly. He looked at me and smiled. "I love you too Keaton," she said staring at me. I smiled at her and set her on the ground.

We spent another hour talking about my trip and what Jade and Alex did while we were gone. She cleared her throat. "Let's go get Alex and Wes. I need to tell you something," she said without looking at me. I nodded and we got up, walking out the door. We walked down the hallway until the door closest to the stairs. "Open up, Jade has to tell us something," I said through the door. Wes opened the door, "in here or downstairs?" I looked at Jade, letting her choose. "Your room is fine since we're already here," she told him. He moved out of the way and let us in. Alex was sitting up on the bed and Wes went to go sit next to her. Jade took the desk chair and I sat on the empty desk. Jade looked at Alex and then back at me.

"Uhm, well... Alex and I are getting a condo together for college. My family is moving to Wisconsin, so it's better we did this anyways. It's only 8 miles away from here and it's in a safe location. It's nice, we saw it yesterday. It needs some new paint and furniture, but it's a little pricy. We can get the money for it though," Jade said. I just stared at her. I was so worried, what if they couldn't afford it? What if something happened to them? It couldn't be completely safe, nowhere is. Before I said anything, Alex began to speak, "I told Wesley already, and he said he understands why we're doing this," she said. Wes nodded and smiled. "Yeah, I think it's cool you guys are getting a place of your own," he said. I was still a little skeptic at the situation, but it was bound to happen. Jade looked at me, waiting for an answer. "I'll help pay if you need any money at all," I said. "You don't have to spend money on us Keats, we're old enough." I shrugged. Wes spoke up, "Keats and I can go furniture shopping with you guys if you want." The girls both smiled, so I assume that's our plan for today.
