Hearing Keaton say he loved me made me feel a little better, but I still wasn't fine. I got out my anger at the gym but I still felt empty inside. I was hoping going to dinner tonight with Keaton would keep my mind off of things. I didn't want everyone there because it'd be too much with everyone worrying about me eating and everything.

We just sat on the couch watching random tv shows until the evening. It was 4 so I worked up enough motivation to get ready. I put on one of Keaton's shirts, and a pair of dark washed jean shorts, with the same vans I wore earlier. I walked down the stairs and met Keaton at the door. "Nice shirt," he said winking, getting a small smile out of me. Normally I would laugh and hit him, but I didn't have the energy. He grabbed my hand and we walked out the door together. "Where would you like to eat?" He asked, both of us getting into his car. I shrugged, just wanting anything. "Taco Bell," I said, wanting tacos. "Sounds good to me," he responded.

Wesley's POV

Jade and Keats left, leaving Alex and I alone. I was worried about Jade, because she was basically a little sister to me, but I didn't let it bother me too much.

"So what do you want to do?" Alex asked. I didn't feel like leaving, so I decided I wanted to do something here. "Let's watch a movie or something," I told her. She smiled and grabbed the remote, finding a movie in tv. I scooted closer to her, and wrapped my arms around her, cuddling closely. She shifted and laid down on her side, facing the tv. I copied her and wrapped my arms back around her. We laid like this for a while until the movie was over.

"I'm hungry," I said. Alex turned so she was facing me and looked at me. "Where do you want to eat?" She asked. "Uhh sushi?" I asked. She nodded, stood up, and stretched. I just laid there, admiring my beautiful girlfriend. I smiled and she looked at me weird, "what are you smiley about?" She asked. I chuckled a little, "just you," I said, and got up. I turned her around so she was looking at me and kissed her, thankful this girl was mine. She smiled into the kiss, and I broke away, smiling at her. "You know, I really love you Alex," I said, grabbing her hand. "I love you too Wesley," she said as we walked towards the door.

Jade's POV

Keaton paid and we took our tacos to a table. I sat down across from him and took a sip of my baja blast. "Soooo," Keaton said, dragging out the o sound. "Can we just talk?" I asked, wanting to get my thoughts out of my head. "Yeah of course," Keaton replied, nodding his head. I took a deep breath before speaking, "I'm beyond heartbroken. And I hate it. I want to be okay and happy and carefree like usual, but I'm not. I don't feel like that. And everyone making sure I'm fine is making it worse because it's reminding me of the whole thing happening, and it's just terrible. From now on, I don't want to talk about it. After the funeral, I don't want to bring it up. I'm not going to pretend she's still here or anything, but I don't want to drown my sanity with the thoughts, ya know?" I ranted on. Keaton nodded and kept eating his taco. "So treat me how you would normally. Be as sarcastic as you want, I'd rather have that than to be treated like a baby," I said, and then sighed. "Sure thing. I'll tell Wes he can be as mean as he usually is, and it won't bother you. Like when he's teasing. That fine?" Keaton asked, smiling. "Uh yeah. That's fine," I said awkwardly. He didn't say anything else, and I didn't have the energy, so we just ate in silence the rest of the time.

Keaton pulled into the parking lot to the condos, and we got out of the car. Keaton came to my side and grabbed my hand. "Keats, I love you," I reminded him, thankful that he was so nice to me. He just smiled. I gave him a small smile back and we continued walking.

Wesley's POV

Alex and I had finished eating and left the restaurant, going to the boardwalk.

I grabbed the boards out of the car and handed one to Alex. We placed the boards on the ground and started going down the boardwalk. "It's so beautiful tonight," I half yelled as we got speed. "I know. The sunset looks amazing," Alex said back. We kept boarding for a while, letting the wind flow through our hair, feeling the outside around us. Soon, the sun set all the way, leaving us in the dark. We eventually stopped riding because we ran into eachother a few times due to the darkness. "We can walk back," I suggested, so nobody would board off the boardwalk. "Sounds good, if we could see," Alex said hesitantly. "It'll be fine. You scared or something?" I asked, concerned. I didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable in any way. "I just.. Don't like being in public places when it's dark," she muttered. "Oh I'm sorry. I didn't know, we could've stopped sooner," I said, putting my arm around her back. "it's fine. We aren't too far," she said leaning her head on my shoulder.

Sorry it's been a few days since I've last updated and this chapter is short! I start school tomorrow, so I'm not sure when I'll update again. It'll most likely be this weekend but I'm not positive! Sorry about this chapter being a little stupid, it's more of a filler.
