We walked upstairs and into Wesley's room. My bag was sitting on the bed where I assumed Jade left it. I grabbed it and opened it, pulling out Wesley's sweats and shirt. "Either cover your eyes or go," I told Wesley. "Whatever," he said, plopping himself on the bed, face in the pillow. I changed quickly and put my clothes into my bag. I pulled out my charger and plugged my phone in near the desk. I walked over to the bed and got under the covers. "Can I look?" Wesley said, his face still in the pillow. I started laughing, "yeah, I forgot to tell you." He got up and smiled. "Wow thanks. I had my face in a pillow for nothing," he said. I rolled my eyes while smiling and he got up. He took his shirt off and walked over to his dresser. He pulled out a pair of athletic shorts and turned to me. "Either close your eyes or leave," he said mocking my voice. I covered my eyes, and let him change. "Open," he said and I listened.
He walked over to the bed and climbed in. He grabbed my arms and pulled me into his chest. "You're hot, why are we this close? It's a little weird," I said. "Thanks, I am pretty hot," he said laughing a little. "You know what I meant," I said pushing myself away a tiny bit so we wouldn't be as close. I turned over so I wasn't facing him, and tried to go to sleep. "I'm glad we met. It's only been a month but it feels like longer," Wesley said. "It has been a month, hasn't it? I'm glad we met too," I said, forgetting I was trying to sleep. Wesley didn't respond so I looked over and he was asleep. I turned back and tried to do the same.
Jade's POV
I had been talking to Keaton for a while because Alex was gone, and eventually the conversations slowly stopped. I checked the time and it was midnight. "Hey, I think I'm gonna go to bed," I told Keaton. He looked up and shrugged. "Okay, I'll go up soon," he said. I got off the couch and walked to the staircase. I took two steps at a time all the way up. I wasn't sure if Alex was still up, but I needed a hair tie. I walked into Wesley's room and it was quiet. They must be asleep. It was dark so I pulled out my phone and turned on the flashlight. I looked around the room for her bag, but couldn't find it at first. As the light shined over the bed, I saw Alex turned towards the edge of the bed sleeping. Wesley was on his back and his hands were on his stomach. I kept shining the light and finally found the bag in the desk chair. I grabbed it and opened it up, looking for the hair tie. I found one so I slowly walked out the room and down to Keaton's room.
I opened the door and Keaton was already sitting down on the bed. He had on a grey tshirt and plaid pants. "I was wondering where you were," he said. I held up the hair tie as I grabbed a pair of soffees and a tshirt. Keaton turned around and I changed. I threw my other clothes near my bag and walked towards the bed. I climbed in and Keaton did the same. We were both on our backs, looking at the ceiling. "I've liked you for a while," Keaton quietly said. "I have too. It's crazy to think we used to be like brother and sister," I said back. "Funny how things work like that," he replied. I nodded and drifted to sleep.

I got dressed and walked down the hall to Wesley's room. I knocked a few times and Alex opened the door. She was dressed too, and her hair was even straightened. "Furniture today?" She asked. "Yeah I was going to ask you the same thing," I said smiling. "I'll grab my phone real quick. Are the boys coming?" She asked. They didn't mention anything, but I might as well ask. "I'll ask Keats and you can ask Wes," I told her. She nodded and walked back into the room. I went to Keaton's room and opened the door. "Are you going furniture shopping with us?" I asked. "Yeah, we'll take separate cars or just yours?" He asked. "Separate because we might need the room," I answered.

I got into the jeep with Alex, and as buckled up. "I feel like we hardly talk anymore. We used to talk so much when we were on opposite sides of the country and now that we're together we don't talk as much," I said, a weight being lifted off my shoulders. "Yeah, I guess so. Since we'll have furniture we can stay at the condo tonight and we can just chill without the boys," Alex suggested. "That sounds like a good idea. I know they're our friends and stuff but we don't spend enough time together," I said. "I know what you mean. I was kind of feeling the same way. As much as I love Wesley, I like having you as my best friend more," Alex said back smiling. "Me too," is all I said smiling back. We drove for about another hour into LA. We went down a few streets until we found Marty's Furniture. We pulled in and parked. Keaton and Wes should be here soon, so we waited in the car for a few minutes and talked.
A few minutes went by and they pulled in to the parking lot. They climbed out and walked to the jeep, while Alex and I climbed out to meet them. Keaton came to me and grabbed my hand. Alex was still by my left side, and Wes was next to her, as we walked inside. I looked around at a few signs before turning to Alex, "do we want to look at living room or bedroom things first?" "Hmmm, bedroom," she said. I nodded and all four of us walked to the beds. I wasn't too picky about the bed, so I looked at all of them. I found one I had liked, and it was also on sale. "I like this one," I said to Alex. "I don't care which one I get, so whatever's cheapest," she said. We ended up getting the same bed frame and mattresses. We walked over to the comforters and started looking. Alex picked out a black and white polka dot one and I chose a blue one. We put those in our cart and kept walking.

After a few hours and lots of money, we finished shopping at Marty's. We loaded each car and shut the trunk. "I'm exhausted and hungry," Alex said. I was feeling hungry too, "We can go eat somewhere," I suggested. "Yeah, and it can be the two of us or with the boys," she said. I thought about it, and decided they could come since they chipped in a little money and have some of our stuff. "They can come," I said. After we all discussed where to eat, we got into our cars and drove there. As soon as I saw the sign, my stomach grumbled, just like Alex's did when we first went here. We pulled into In-N-Out and parked. We all walked inside and found a table to sit at. I sat next to Keaton as usual, Alex sat across from me, while Wes sat by her side.
Alex's POV
We parked at the condo and got out the car. Jade and I went to the trunk and opened it. We started pulling things out and setting them on the ground. Wesley and Keaton did the same thing to their trunk. After everything was out, we all started carrying things to the condo, making sure one person took a turn watching the remaining items. Eventually, everything had been hauled in to the condo. The couch was easy to move to where we wanted it, and the lamp. We put the coffee table in front of the couch and left all the other decorations for later. Wesley and Keaton helped drag the bed frames upstairs into each of out rooms. Keaton went into Jade's room and Wesley went into mine. "I'll help you out this together," he said holding two pieces of the frame. "Okay thanks." We both started working on connecting it, screwing things here and there. After about half an hour of hard work, it was complete. We took the mattresses and slid them on the bed frame. I was so tired at this point, but I only had to put sheets and a comforter on. After I slipped them on, I threw some pillows on the bed. I moved the bedside table to the side I sleep on and put a lamp on it. I grabbed some decorative pillows and threw them on my window seat. I looked around the room and huffed a big breath, falling onto the comfortable bed. Wesley walked over and sat up on the bed. "It actually looks good now," he said. I nodded and looked around.
I closed my eyes to rest and I felt movement. I opened my eyes and saw Wesley picking me up bridal style. "What are you doing?" I asked trying to squirm out of his grip. "We're going to see Jade's room, chill," he said laughing at me. I gave up trying to escape and sat in his arms. This kid was so weird, I thought. He set me down on the ground when we got into her room. It looked great, maybe even better than mine. "Looks good," I said, admiring the room. "Thanks, I'm exhausted now," she said. "Me too. I almost fell asleep," I told her. She sighed and got up off the bed. "We still have to hang stuff up downstairs," she said walking through the door. I followed her and walked down the stairs slowly since my legs ached.
