"Yes, we would love to come in but, I need to talk with Sulfur and Derest first hehe," Loyd said grabbing Sulfur and Derest by their arm.

"Ow, hey what was that for!" Sulfur exclaimed as Loyd squeezed his arm.

"Derest you got a lot of explaining to do his eyes may not be what they used to be but his mouth sure is," Loyd said irritated at Derests' father.

Loyd, what you talking about he was welcoming us to his house. Sulfur said confused at his roommate.

I'm surprised that with someone who's as good at hearing things didn't hear someone call you a furry. Loyd explained disappointed in Sulfur.

I did hear it. I don't let words like that get to me there's no reason for me to get mad about it. Sulfur said reassuring Loyd about the situation.

It just doesn't sit well with me that... Derest... does your father know I'm gay? Loyd asked Derest hoping he'll say yes.

Derest stopped looking at Loyd and told him the truth. No, he doesn't. Loyd sighed. Let me guess he's homophobic and doesn't like anthros either. Derest nodded.

Ok, let's go have dinner and chat I guess. Loyd said gravely and deep.

Wow, I haven't seen him like this in forever, the last time I saw him like this was when he got kicked out and asked to live me and my parents. Sulfur said worried for his friend.

We should head back to the dining room with Loyd and Dad. Derest suggested.

Yeah, I think we should as well. Sulfur agreed.

Look who's back my kiddo and yeller' doggo. Derests' father said jokingly.

Hey! I'm a wolf pal! Sulfur said defensively.

Well then, wolf the name's Greg and your friend here looks a bit out of it. Greg said faking his worry.

Son of a bi-. Sulfur said almost got on top of the table and punched Greg if it wasn't for Loyd stopping him.

He knows barely anything about you. You should let THAT get you all riled up. Loyd said to Sulfur calming him down.

He knew just enough, he knew that Loyd was gay, he knew that his son has been hiding something from him, he knew about Sulfur's loose temper and how his dad left him he just had to let one of them slip and boom he reveals everything he knows.

Yeah, you're right I can't let this baboon get to me. Sulfur said insulting Greg.

Say! Sulfur how's Onyx. Greg said with a grin.

How do y- you know about him? Sulfur said flatly giving Greg the biggest glare he could muster if looks could kill Greg would be six foot under or on a flaming boat pushed into the sea.

Used to see him every now and then before you were born, a great guy used to keep in contact with but then I found out he left your mom for some guy always knew that guy was a faggot in disguise. Greg said to Sulfur not knowing what he had just started.

Dad, what are you doing!? Derest exclaimed.

Oh, don't get me started on your boy. Greg warned. I know about your little queer friend over there and about you how long were you gonna keep that secret huh until you were eighteen or somethin'? Greg said.

What are you talking about? Derest said tears dropping from his eyes like flies.

I'm talking about' this little crush you have on me. You don't think I see you reading all those stories about kids boning their fathers.

Wha- what are y- you talking a- about? Derest losing his breath trying to spit out what he has to say.

Derest then started to literally choke on his words coughing, gagging, and hyperventilating.

Now, look at ya', choking ya' own words. Greg laughed sadistically relishing in how much Derest was suffering but Loyd was the complete opposite he tried his best to calm him and Sulfur down but his efforts were futile as Derest then past out.

The rest was a blur for Derest all he could see was a flaming wolf and a silhouette of what his dad used to be.

That is the end of pt. 2 of the prologue the next chapter will be explaining the characters, their personalities, and etc.
