"Snooping isn't gonna do you any good ya' know, Principal Wolfsons said, and shouldn't you be in class catching up on your missing work."
"Uhh yes ma'am sorry ma'am I'll get to class r-right now," Derest said shaken by the fact she came out of nowhere.
Principal Wolfsons let out a sigh. "Derest, I also wanted to let you know that it will be wonderful having you stay with us for now." Ms. Wolfsons said.
"Wait, why?" Derest asked.
"Oh, Sulfur and Loyd didn't tell you. Your dad uh went to jail at least I think so he's probably just gonna be in there for a little while." She said trying to be as reassuring and as she was frank.
This puzzled Derest. "I mean it makes sense but." He paused not wanting to continue the conversation "Uh nevermind see you later Ms. Wolfsons," he waved leaving the conversation.
"Yeah," Carol said softly.
~~Meanwhile with Sulfur and Loyd~~~~
"Ok, Sulfur where's this attic you speak of," Loyd asked.
"It's righ-." He was about to say "right here" but was cut off by boxes falling on him and narrowly hitting his tail.
"Scheisse!" Sulfur shouted.
"Hey! Language Sulfur we may be alone and you may be able to curse in different languages doesn't mean you can do it." Loyd scolded him.
"Hey C'mon! Those boxes deserve it, they nearly hit my tail." Sulfur said.
"Hello anybody in there." Loyd joked knocking on Sulfur's head.
"Hey! I take great offense to that I'm a smart doggo." Sulfur said.
"You sure are old buddy, old pal," Loyd said jokingly.
Sulfur barely mustered a fake frown to keep himself from laughing, after that almost unfortunate mishap with the boxes Sulfur and Loyd began to clean, survey, and give some of the old Sulfur and Loud pizzazz, l they were almost done when they noticed a rather huge, paper mache looking structure on the ceiling.
"Oh shit! A WASPS NEST, I CAN'T BE HERE PLEASE LET ME OUT!!!!!" Loyd began to panic. Now normally Carol would comfort Loyd when it came to wasps, but now they were alone.
SULFUR! GET ME OUTTA HERE! PLEASE, THE WASP THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!!! Loyd screamed.
"Loyd what is going on with you, I get that they're cunts with wings but other than that they're harmless little buggers." Sulfur said trying to reassure Loyd, but obviously, it didn't work. Sulfur's head and heart were racing, he had never seen Loyd like this, he didn't know what to do at all.
"Ok, Loyd, you can go downstairs if it'll help I'll take care of the wasps. Ok?" Sulfur reassured him.
"Yeah, I'd like that a lot," Loyd said trembling as started to go downstairs.
"Ok. Let's kill these fuckers." Sulfur said trying to sound badass.
~~~~Meanwhile with Carol~~~~~~~~~
Patricia! Carol beckoned.
Yes, Ms. Wolfsons. Patricia answered.
Oh please, call me Carol, I've been meaning to change my last name recently, but I don't really know if I should. Carol said nonchalantly.
Well if you do, at least it was your decision. Patricia said.
Yeah... wait are you saying that it wasn't your decision to change your name. Carol asked with a bit of her motherly worry.
No! Heavens no! I just uhh worded that wrong. Patricia said reassuring Carol.
"Patricia, you know my mother's intuition doesn't allow me to have a sense of humor and my principle's credo doesn't allow me to hear that you used the wrong wording for an English teacher at my school. Carol snapped at Patricia sternly.
"Uhhhhh, sorry Ms. Wolfsons I humbly apologize for my actions and words," Patricia said teary-eyed.
"C'mon Patricia you know I was just joking," Carol said consoling her.
"Oh, *sniff* yeah I knew that but it's not like you to be this mean, well mean in general," Patricia said.
Patricia was the emotional type, she also fed off of surrounding emotions and Carol already knew that she was a bit of a mean person sometimes, she knew that, but others didn't want to believe it, it's sad really, she didn't want to follow other people's thought of her as selfish and weird, but it was how she felt.
Yeah, well I'm a mean person, people just refuse to believe it, I hate being nice all the time, I always act nice so I can be perceived as people see me, a nice lady with the child of a gay man who is friends with a boy who got kicked out of his parents house and lives with us and now I have another mouth to feed with Derest and I don't know how long I'll be able to keep up with this big nice mama wolf act it's getting really old.
Patricia just went silent she was flabbergasted, completely aghast to what she just heard, but she could oddly relate it was weird she just heard how her friend, her boss, her neighbor open up about her so-called act, she somehow felt empowered by her little spiel it was also oddly enlightening she wasn't just some nice wolf she meets on an everyday basis it made her feel relieved that there was something more to her.
Oh my God thank you! Patricia said rather loudly. You're not some kind of cookie-cutter wolf that passes by you're a bad gal, a mean girl, a literal bitch and I like it. Patricia said rather to Carol's amusement.
I don't see why you're so happy just because I hate doing this nice act and that I fessed up to you doesn't mean I'll own it just yet, plus you're in over your head if you think the mean me is better than nice me I'd rather like people to know the fake me than the real me, hell even my son thinks I'm the nicest person in the world probably cause I can be, so whatever power trip or emotional high you're going through right now can end right now. Carol said snappily and left.
