I was getting tired as we kept going from shop to shop, I swear Jasper is worse than a girl when it comes to shopping. They had multiple bags and I still hadn't gone to the bookstore. It was 8:45 and the mall close in fifteen minutes, so I have to debate whether or not to ask them.
"Hey, can I stop by the bookstore before the mall closes," I asked.
"Oh yeah, we need to head that way anyway to get to the car," Jasper said. I smiled slightly as we started that way and when we made it we only had about 8 minutes left. I went to the history section and looked at all the books. I decided on one on World War 2 and the other on Hitler. The boys followed me up to the counter and I set the books on the desk and pulled out my wallet. I got out my card and started to hand over it to the cashier, but Jasper started to give his card at the same time. I looked at him and glared before taking the card from his and handing mine to the cashier. Once everything was paid for with my own money, I gave him his card back. He looked at me shocked before huffing and putting it into his wallet. We walked out and got into the truck once again.
"So, you want to go out and eat?" Sebastian asked. I didn't say anything not feeling like it was my place.
"Yeah let's go to the pizza place" Jazz replied finally. I nodded and we started driving again, but this time Jasper turned on the radio. We listened to the quiet music for a 40-minute drive through traffic till we parked and slid out. We went into this nice looking restaurant and got a seat at a round table in the corner. The waitress came over and asked what we'd like to drink, and then left.
"So, Ash we need to set out ground rules," Jasper said. I growled in annoyance and stood up.
"This is the reason you've done all this to soften the blow, fuck you," I said throw gritted teeth and left the table. I started to walk out and quickly heard their footsteps behind me but ignored them. I kept going wishing that I could talk to Evan, but he left like everyone else. Soon, I felt tears leave my eyes and I groaned again, agitated at my life and every situation I have been put in. I've gone from home to home and I was sick of it I felt like giving up it wasn't worth it. I then realized that I didn't hear footsteps behind me. I looked and I didn't see the brothers. I sighed I guess they gave up to. I finally came to a point where I was exhausted and couldn't walk anymore. I then sat down on the curb and ran my fingers through my hair cursing the world and the God or higher power that put me in this place. I looked down at the sidewalk and thought about everything and how this home might be different and how I should hold hope like Evan always tells me, but it was hard. I heard footsteps and whipped my head up while standing up. I soon saw it was the boys walking towards me.
"Are you done cooling off?" Sebastian asked me. I shrugged and then yawned.
"Come on Ash lets go home it's 11:00 and you can barely stand up" I shrugged my shoulder and started walking to the truck parked behind them. I opened the door and slid in. Once buckled up we headed "Home".
"We got you a slice of pizza. It's pepperoni," Sebastian said. handing over a takeout box. I took it and immediately at the whole piece in a matter of seconds and moved on to the second on. When I was done I shut the box and set it on my lap to rest. I could fee the energy being sucked out of me as I leaned back my head on the back of the seat.
"That's it, I'll wake you when we get them," Sebastian said smiling down at me. I nodded and closed my eyes. I could feel my head fall to the side until it was rested on Sebastian's shoulder. Too tired to care I let sleep take me away from all this bullshit.
I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. Yelling profanities I climbed out and shut the curtains, then I went back to my bed and fell in wanting to sleep for impurity. I heard a sharp knock on the door and groaned knowing I would have to wake up I got up and saw I was still in the clothes from yesterday. I went to my bag and pulled out black skinny jeans and a white shirt, the I slung on my black leather jacket. I walked out and past Sebastian, who looked like he was going to knock on my door again. I entered the kitchen to see November awake and as animated as ever. She was telling Jasper about getting new clothe and the clothing she used to have.
"...We went to get me dresses too and I've never had so many dresses. Ash would always buy me clothing, but we didn't have enough money. He worked at a dinner he would let me eat the fries and sometimes a whole meal, while I would wait for him. Anyway and Jasper we also got so many shoes, Piper helped me she was so nice. She helped me with everything and we went out to dinner, and then she tucked me into bed. Usually, Ash does that, but I know he was out with you guys so I let Piper tuck me in. Though no offense Piper Ash does it better, because he sings me songs." November babble on and on till she was out of breath. I went and sat down beside November and she smiled at me before shoving a spoon full of eggs into her mouth.
I sat down and Piper slid over a plate of bacon and an omelet.
"Thanks," I mumbled picking up the silverware and ate a small bite not feeling that hungry, just wishing that they would get rid of me already. I knew November had the wrapped around her finger, but I wasn't good enough. I needed to remember that. When I'm 18 I can go, I can work for a year or two and then go to college after I've saved money.
"So, I was thinking we could go to the park later today, since it's the weekend." Jasper said to November, who had food in her mouth rabidly nodding yes. Slowly while the others were talking i slide out of the room and back into my room, with a sigh of relief. I went to my bed and got my mac and signed into KIK to see if Evan had responded to me, and silently hoping he was online so we could talk.
