I growled under my breath highly annoyed with him, but he kept doing it. Finally, I turned to him and gave him a glare which he returned with a grin. We stared at each other for a while, but finally, there was a throat that cleared and we both looked around to see everyone staring. I could feel my face heat up and I growled and stood up and grabbed Evans hand and pulled him to his room where I face planted onto his bed.
"What was that with Sebastian," Evan said eagerly coming over to the bed and sitting on the edge.
"I don't know," I whined sitting up and moving next to him.
"Well, I think he likes you," he said.
"I know, but I don't know what to do about it," I responded.
"It's okay to open up and like him," he stated. I rolled my eyes thinking about the situation more.
"Yeah," I said with a sigh
"Dinners ready!" Jake yelled knocking on the door. We got up and headed to the table. I sat next to Evan and Sebastian. I soon felt Sebastian's hand on my leg again. I ignored it and listened into the conversation.
"So, did you notice how similar Taylor and Ash look?" Jasper asked.
"Yeah I did it creepy, he could be their kid they look so similar," Jake said chuckling, but a few seconds after he said that a look of mortification came across his face and he looked at Taylor.
"I mean you did have a kid a few years ago and left he with Brook," Jake continued nervously. I sat down my fork and looked at them because Brook was my biological mother, my father never came. We were happy for a few years until I was 3-4 I can't remember and then she became an addict and abusive saying it was my fault my father left. She wasn't terrible considering the abuse I got from later foster parents. She did lock me in the closet and would scream at me only a few times did she raise her hand. I looked at Taylor then I slowly got up and walked to the front door and left. I couldn't deal with that. I knew that he probably was my dad seeing as he had a BABY with a woman named brook, and how we looked so similar. It hurt though to know he had a normal life and never thought twice about me or Brook, while he was here having a happy life.
I heard footsteps behind me and saw Evan running after me, I slowed down so he could catch up and saw tears streaming down his face. I
"I swear I didn't know!" He screamed at me his voice raw. I just nodded numbly and hugged him, while crying.
"I left and told them I didn't want them as parents, I know what Taylor did to you was unfair and I can't live with him knowing he caused you so much pain," He rushed out new tears streaming down his face.
"NO, you can't leave them, yes what Taylor did to me was unfair, and I'll never forgive him, but they've made you happy and you have to go back for me," I said hopefully, my voice cracking.
"But, Ash he left you," he responded.
"I know but they haven't left you, and you deserve happiness, they love you I can see it, I wasn't good enough to keep, but you are so don't let go," I said, my voice getting firmer.
"Okay, if your certain and we can still be friends," He said.
"Of course we will still be friends," I heard a car pull up next to us and saw Jake and Taylor in the car. I looked at Evan and nodded, he went over to the car and got in. Taylor got out and my face hardened.
"Ash, I'm sorry, I didn't know she put you in the foster care system, I was so young then and I thought she could handle you, so I left," He said tears streaking down his face.
