I am so sorry for not keeping up with this! I've written the whole fic so I just forgot that it needed to be posted! I wish I'd left it on a chapter with a cliff-hanger so I'd kept you all in suspense, but anyway... here's chapter 10☺️

It was the day of the first visit for Connie. The visiting days were the same as they had been in the women's prison though the hours were different, and so Connie had arranged to visit Nicky too. In the male's prison, they had forty minutes visiting time and Connie had already been talking with Jacob for ages. She knew that he wasn't happy where he was staying, but he hadn't been hurt, which relieved her a lot. The other prisoners hadn't asked him to do any jobs yet either, which was another great relief.

"So, the rules are a bit different here babe," Jacob smiled. "They allow conjugal visits even whilst I'm on remand - there's a form over there that we both need to sign and then they can arrange us a room for two hours to do whatever the hell we want. Visits are on Friday, so it's only two days away. If you can get it signed today, then we might be able to have sex in two days."

"That sounds wonderful," Connie smiled, tightening her grip on his hands. "I just want this whole thing to be over."

"I do too," he nodded. "It's awful in here, I don't know how you managed for as long as you did."

"I had people looking out for me. You don't know the names of any other prisoners yet - it sounds like hell. The real murderer will be found, they have to be." The two of them nodded, and Connie kissed his cheek as she stood up to get a form, and she brought it back over to Jacob. She filled out the details quickly, then the two of them signed it, smiling like fools.
"So you're sure you're alright with me visiting Nicky too?"

"Why wouldn't I be? Baby, she needs you. You can support her until she gets out." Connie nodded, smiling again, and a tear fell down her cheek. She hated having to see Jacob like this - she just wanted him home with her.
"You know you'd be eligible for conjugals there too, if you wanted."

"You want me to ask Nicky?" Connie asked, bewildered. She didn't know how she felt about that, but she was surprised that Jacob was the one to suggest it. Connie had liked it with Nicky, but she'd accepted that it was never going to happen again. However, thinking about it, she remembered what Nicky had said about it being lonely and about how neither of them had feelings for one another, but the sex just helped them along. Would it be fair for Connie to get out of jail and just leave Nicky to it? The truth was, she didn't know.

"If you want to ask her, baby, ask her. You deserve it." There was only a few minutes left of the visit, and so Connie moved across the table and latched her mouth onto his, firmly pressing their lips together. Her tongue crept through his parted lips and massaged his softly, begging him without words to look after himself. Soon enough, they had to leave each other and Connie made her way out of the prison, dropping off the application form as she did.

She went straight to the women's prison and was a little early for the visit, but it just enabled her to fill out the application form for the conjugal visit. She didn't know if Nicky would want to sign it or if she would even give Nicky the option, but Connie thought that if she at least got the rest of it ready, then it would save time during the visit if they did decide it was something they wanted. It wasn't long before Connie, and the relatives of other prisoners, were allowed in and as soon as Connie saw Nicky, they both smiled like two long-lost friends who were finally reunited.

"So I heard about what Jacob did for you; you alright cutie? Because I watched the confession on the telly, and I really don't think he's a killer."

"He isn't... He definitely isn't. And I've got nothing to complain about. Jacob just seems so depressed. I know he's trying to hide it for my sake, but I've just been to see him, and that place is awful. It really is. I don't think he's going to last there."
