Lucy POV

Along the path created centuries before of long-forgotten travelers float a single fairy with long elegant translucent wings the color of light pink as the sun hit them they sparkle. She had escaped from her duties as her training to be the next high queen of fairies to be left alone in her most precious treasure. Her cove. The one place no one knew about the only place she ever found solace and peace. Yes she loved being a fairy and yes she loved her train, hard as it is to be trained by Titania or as she called her Ezra, but she couldn't wanting some time to be by herself to wander the trees in hopes of finding a small adventure. She craved the exploration and the need to be among the things she loved the most was almost painful to be away from. See she was the fairy of the forest each fairy had a realm in which they ruled absolute in and the trees were hers. They gave her life and in return, she kept them safe and happy. She heard their voices and spoke with them often. Granted not all fairies had a realm some were born within a realm to serve as the high fairy's aid to help with each aspect of that specific realm. She had many aids that helped her along with being of royal blood she was able to do things others could only wish they could. For example, she was able to control a certain amount of celestial body ire which took the form of keys she kept at her waist. They told her, her mother before she had the same gift it was what made her queen. But she wasn't a master at it like her mother was only when she truly mastered it and showed her mastery of the talent is when she would resume the throne of the fairy court of Seelie. Now there were those of the Unseelie that looked for her. The dragons or more commonly know as dragoons in their world that wished for their destruction of this very was talent. But their rumors, oh yes rumors she never paid attention to, that said there was a faction of dragons that opposed the Unseelie law that called for her destruction lead by none other than the fire king Igneel the very one that wished to leave the dark court and join the light. The rumors also said that he only wished so to keep his son safe. Lucy never understood why those of the high fae in her court and other courts put so much stock in rumor but she only believed those which she saw with her own eyes as truth. Wandering through the willow trees I heard a loud sound. It kinda sounded like a roar one which only one kind of creature could make that struck through my mind like an arrow. 'Dragon' The thought sent shivers down my spine as I searched the thought sent shivers down my spine. I searched through the woods leaving the safety of my willow trees to come to the edge of a clearing where there stood a lone figure with large scaled red wings the webbing a light brown between the bone covered scales on its back with salmon pink hair and bright red long curved horns. Lucy couldn't see the face but knew instinctively that it was, in fact, a dragon without looking into the well-known eyes. She couldn't help but wonder what a dragon was doing out here in the middle of her forest roaring so loudly that anyone could hear. But fear rooted her whole body in place. Oh, she knew the stories about their kind her mother before her passing told her all the old tales of every creature of both light and dark courts. Of how they were known to kidnap princesses and hunt fairies for sport or sheer entertainment. How they liked to pluck fairy wings as a prize or proof of the act, or wear elf ears around their neck to show their power. She wanted to fly away wanted to be anywhere but where she was but try as she might she couldn't seem to get herself to move when suddenly the dragon lifted his face to the sky looking like he was smelling something when suddenly he turned and locked eyes with the young fairy princess and growling at her ready to attack. But what struck her mind was two things, one being he didn't move once he was in a position to attack and two they just stared at her. Neither moving a muscle when suddenly another roar was heard in the far off distance which made the dragon turn in the direction it came from. He slowly edged away which made the young fairy confused and bewildered at the act when suddenly he spread his wings widely and took off like a jet stream into the sky far away from the fairy. 'Why hadn't he attacked her? Or try to hurt her? He was in a position to attack but he just stood there watching her. So why hadn't he done anything but stare?' Thoughts ran through her mind as she continued to look at the spot he was standing before flying away and so lost in the maze of her mind when a young fairy with blue hair wearing a small gown, the dress made of many different orange flowers appeared behind her shouting her name and not getting a response. The blue hairs fairy decided to poke her friends shoulder earring shout from the young blond that hurt both their ears when suddenly the bluette laughed heartily at her friend as the blond blushed and shouted " LEVY!!!!" As the blue-haired fairy continued to laugh. " Come on Lu-Chan Erza's Looking for you and you know how she gets when she's angry." Levy laughter lighting up tugging on her friend to follow with the thoughts of the dragon still plaguing her mind she followed her friend back to court in their fairy realm only to be met with tatania and her fierce blade. Looking at Lucy and her trembling form she walked up to her future queen laying a hand on her shoulder." You had me worried I'm glad you're alright. Rumors are spreading that dragoons have been spotted in the area of your forest. You need to be more careful now that the unsleeie's have gotten wind of your existence." Lucy nodded feeling the weight of her words soak her brain knowing it to be intact true about the dragons. But it only made her more curious about the dragon earlier. "Who knows what those dragons will do to you if they ever get their hands on you," said Ezra in a stern but concerned tone which only made the future queen even more confused then before' but why hadn't he done anything he had the perfect opportunity to do so.' With that her hand was grabbed and she suddenly felt a light pull" Come , we must continue your training the Seelie court can't be left without a ruler for too long it's only a matter of time before they try to make their move against us" Ezra said in a strict tone that almost made Lucy sigh in exasperation knowing she would receive punishment if she did was the only reason she kept it in. She was tired of training tired of the exhaustion that followed but mostly she was Ted to go back to where that dragon was and ask him why he didn't attack her. Little did the young fairy queen know that she would meet him sooner then she would have ever thought.
