Natsu POV
While watching the future queen with my sister gave me so many surprises and when our eyes met over my sisters head and seeing that fire within her eyes almost made me lose my breath. Never have I thought anyone outside of our kin would become so protective over my sister but life was always surprising. I had prepared myself ready in case I had to run with my sister to safety but it seemed at the moment wasn't needed, at least not at this time but I was always ready for when it was. Just as life is full of surprises so were misfortunes and I would never let anything happen to her. But watching them now it seemed the princess was sincere with her actions and words. Never in my life had I experienced such a thing from a fair outside of Gray and Juvia. The thought of hurting her in any future sent burning pain through me so I let the thought slide outside of my minds reach but I was prepared to do what must be done in any case.'For now I guess I have no choice but to trust her.' As they danced around the room preparing for the party I just sat and watched until a sprite walked in and talked to the fairy before leaving saying something about another fairy.'hmmm I wonder who it was that made the princess look so crestfallen. Might be her pair.' the thought made me angry. I couldn't understand why a simple thought would make me angry but I let that go as well. Choosing not to dwell on thoughts concerning the blonde fairy as I too went to get ready for the festivities grabbing my cloak and the crown that I hid in a pack on my back. I was certain that this party would be an interesting one indeed.
