Kouji POV
"AHHHHH!" I heard Tsukiko scream in pain. "I'm coming just hold on!" I yelled to her, hoping she would hear me. I ran down the corridor and made two sharp lefts entering into the right hallway. "AHHHHH!" I hear again. My blood starts to boil and my feet move faster and faster against the crumbling wood. As i get closer and closer to the turn, i start to slow down. I look around the corner of the wall and saw a man-- no a horse-- no a man/horse holding a blaster to Tsukiko's neck. 'Centalmon' the name comes into my mind, I also know I can't defeat him in this form. I reach into my pocket and pull out my digivice. I hold it in the palm of my hand, concealing it until the time is right. I come out of my hiding spot, "Let her go!" I yelled. He turned towards me with the blaster still pinned to her neck. "Kouji! AHHH! Go! Get out of here!" She cried as her hands pressed tighter to her head. I looked at her kneeling on the ground, helpless to Centalmon. "No!" I told her. Her pleading eyes looked into mine and my heart clenched. I knew i needed to help but i didn't want to scare her again. "Sprit Evolution!" I yelled. I didn't care if i scared her, if i don't she might not make it. If i lost her again, i don't know what i would do.
Tsukiko's POV
"Lobomon." i heard a booming voice say. The pain in my head reduced greatly, I looked up to see the silver and navy knight I saw the night before. I almost screamed in terror until i remembered it was Kouji, projecting me from the armored Centaur.
"Lobokindo!" I heard him shout and i scrambled to get out of the way. When I reached the far wall I watched a battle rage on. Just when i thought Lobomon would make the final strike, the Centaur dodged. I heard names of attacks ring out and echo from the dark chasm below. Centalmon knocked Kouji to the ground, weary he turned back into his normal form. Centalmon turned towards me and grabbed me from behind. As I wriggled around in his arms trying to shake free I remembered one of my favorite movies. 'Here goes nothing I thought.'
"Solar plexus, Instep, Nose, Groin!" I shouted. He crumbled to the floor. I dug through my bag for one of my sharp kitchen knives, I stabbed it into his chest and he dissolved, going into my digivice. "Don't forget to SING." I said the spot where the centaur just was, silently thanking Miss Congeniality. Remembering Kouji's limp body on the ground, i grabbed my backpack and hauled him outside the house. After i checked his pulse i checked his body to see if he had any injuries. Finding none i slowly started to freak out. 'What was i supposed to do now? What if that thing came after me again? Where are we? Are we going to survive?' These were just some the thoughts going through my mind. A single tear fell down my cheek as i had a mental break down. I put my head on his chest and started to cry, begging him to wake up. After a few minutes passed and the sobbing subsided, i heard slight shuffling around me. Lifting my head up i found myself surrounded by little red flower people.
"Back! Back way! Get out of here! Go!" I cried out at them, but they only got closer.
"We just want to help." They said in unison.
"How can i trust you? The last two times I meet digimon i almost got killed!" I screamed
"Please we can help. We can give you food, and a place to rest for the night. We can even help out your friend." Although I didn't want to go with them I had to make sure Kouji was okay. They didn't look deadly i just had to keep up my guard.
"Okay, lead the way." I said hesitantly. I stood up from the ground and they carried Kouji into their home. It was a small little home; brightly lit and very cozy. They laid Kouji down on floor and i sat next to him. My eyes started to droop and my head felt heavy.
"Who are you?" I asked sleepily
"Floramon." They said cheerfully. I closed my eyes and laid head down in Kouji's chest. Keeping guard much? Exhaustion over took me and i feel into the darkness of sleep.
