Chapter 20

Paige's P.O.V

I stretched, and rolled over to see Caleb, sleeping peacefully. Still another month of summer, before back to Uni. I swung my legs over the bed, and decided to go on a walk.

I threw my hair in a messy bun. Then put on some running shorts, and a tank.

I silently creeped down the hall, and outside. I walked down the street.I stuck my hands in my pockets, and stared down at the street as I walked.

My face lit up when I thought about Luke.

It was about 12, so I figured Luke would be awake.

I dialed his number and it rang, he picked up on the 3rd ring.

"Heyy."I said, not being able to contain my smile.

"Hey."he replied.

"Guess what!!?!?"I cheered.

"Hmm?"he asked.

"Guess?"I giggled.

"Uh...I don't know?"he chuckled at my childishness.

"Guess!?!?!?"

"You got over Caleb?"he asked.

"Caleb and I are dating again!!"I screeched.

He replied,"That's great."

"Really?"I giggled of happiness.

"Mmmh.."he hummed.

"I thought you were gonna be mad or like upset."I sighed of relief.

"Ha, me..no."he murmured

"Good!!"I chimed.

"Hey, I gotta go.."Luke said.

"Alright, call me later?"I asked.

"Yea.."

           Luke's P.O.V

Worst thing about it was, I want her to be happy. I want her to be happy,but dating me. I want to wake up next to her. Fall asleep with her. All the things that would be marked awkward or-over the line in a friendship. Nope, that was left up to a douche. A douche who probably didn't know her middle name. This guy cheats, and breaks up with her so much. He's the one she lets hold her heart. I could understand how she felt though. I loved her so much, yet she caused me the most pain.

I sighed, walking into the house. The boys, and I were hanging out. But then I got the phone call, and went outside.

"What was it about?"Calum asked.

"Uh-nothing."I shrugged and walked up stairs.

"Where are you going?"Ashton asked.

"I think I'm gonna take a nap.."I sighed.

"Okay..have fun.."Calum chuckled, and so did Ashton.

"Actually guys, me to."Michael said.

The other 2 whined,"Michael you love video games!!??!"

"Feeling a bit tired."he shrugged them off, and followed me.

I lied on my bed, and stared at the roof. Then Michael came in, closing the door.

"Hey."

"Don't hey me. It was Paige wasn't it."he sighed, and I nodded.

"What is it this time."he sighed.

"Paige and Caleb are back together."I shrugged like it was nothing.
