Regina wasn't fully comfortable on the pillow. Her bottom was quite sensitive after the belt lashing he gave her only a few hours ago now. He at least let her sit on a pillow though, instead of tying her hands again and putting her on the floor in the empty room.
Regina's POV
He clearly had some care in there, he just was taking control and being in charge. That wasn't unusual. What I couldn't understand was why. Why give me any comfort at all if I was just for gold to be killed? I didn't understand it. I didn't want to ask too many questions though, chancing making him angry.
Smee had brought us food, cheeses, fruits, breads and some meats. He brought wine that I assumed I wouldn't be allowed to have, and water. I didn't want to touch anything unless he gave me permission.
Killian's POV
She's well behaved now, that lashing made her more obedient indeed. I wasn't surprised, she was still quite young, and likely had never received anything like that before. She was still innocent, I knew that, given how afraid she was when she thought I would violate her. She also had an obvious shyness and embarrassment when he skin was bared to me. I pressed my lips together, pouring wine for myself, and I poured water in front of her first.
She looked at me with hope in her eyes, "Go on, drink it," I instructed towards the water glass in front of her. She looked at me thankfully, and sipped the glass.
Killian gazed at her across the table, "Eat," he instructed, and permitted. She copied him, unsure of what else to do, she simply copied what he took to eat. A thin smile laid on his lips as he watched her.
Regina ate, and kept her mouth mainly full during the moments they sat there. She wriggled a bit uncomfortably in her seat, which made Killian smirk. He knew from looking that the welts were quite clear on her behind, he knew she was uncomfortable, but couldn't help be pleased with his work.
As she nibbled on a grape, he decided to break the silence. "Where are your parents?" He asked. She looked up at him and finished chewing the fruit in her mouth. "Umm I don't know," She shrugged. "Orphan?" He asked. "I guess," she shrugged.
"You had to have someone at some point, to get you to a certain age, at least," he mused. "I suppose I did, I just don't remember anyone," She shook her head. "I see," he tipped his head up. She couldn't read his face and just paid attention when he spoke.
"You just knew your name? Clearly someone named you," He said. "Yes, I suppose so," She shrugged. "Mmm, your name means Queen. Interesting considering you're the prisoner of a Captain," He said amused.
She sighed, and couldn't help but ask him, "Who's Milah?"
He sipped the wine, as the words came from her mouth. He looked down, and then upward at her. "She was someone I loved," He admitted. "What happened to her?" Regina asked.
"The dark One killed her, when he took my hand," he revealed. "Why?" Regina pressed. "Suddenly you're full of questions?" He scolded. She closed her mouth, afraid of his tone. He sighed, "She was at one time, before he was the dark one, his wife," He said with a solemn tone.
"So he thinks you stole her?" Regina asked. Killian met her innocent eyes, "That's what he thought yes," He nodded. "But she left on her own?" She asked. "Indeed, she did, she wanted to be with me," he said. "She wanted to see the world," he said.
Regina's POV
He was in love, and lost her. Perhaps that's what made him so harsh. Maybe that's also why he has a soft side buried under there. All the anger and revenge clearly came from somewhere. Losing the woman he loved.
"Ok, no more questions lass," he said getting his firm tone back, looking from side to side. She nodded obediently at him. "I have a question for you now," he said.
Regina lifted her head up, "Are you going to behave the remainder of this journey?" he asked. "What do you mean?" She asked. "Are you going to behave? It's a very simple question, either you're going to or you're not," He said.
"You want me to just accept that I'm being taken to be killed?" She gaped at him. "Things are not always as they seem lass, you're young, and have a lot to learn about the world," he said. "What? You said I was being taken for your reward, that wanted poster..." she said.
He interjected, "Says Wanted Alive, in case you noticed," He said. "But being Wanted on those posters by the Queen is never good," Regina said. "Perhaps," He nodded.
Regina felt herself getting upset with him now, "Are you playing a game or something?" She snapped at him. He opened his eyes and his lip curled up, "Oh getting sassy again I see," he smirked.
"You're playing riddles, and it's unfair," she snapped. "Is it? I can be much more unfair," he said standing up. She looked up at him as he came in front of her. "You know how unfair I can be?" He asked.
"Perhaps you need your behind bared and beaten in front of the crew, how would you like that?" His voice was warning, and scolding now, as he leaned over her. She gulped and her lip slightly quivered at him.
"I told you, things may not be what you think, and you're going to behave," he said sternly. She blinked her eyes at him, "If you're a good girl, you'll get to sit in here or sleep in here comfortably, if not, you'll be tied up the entire time, and your behind beaten daily, however I wish, do you understand me?" He said harshly.
She clenched her jaw at him and didn't answer him, he rolls his eyes. "Don't press me lass, your behind is already sore," he warned. She sighed in her chest and remained silent.
He growled, and rotated his head exasperatedly, and tugged her up. Facing her at the wall, using his hook to lift each of her hands so they were placed against it. She looked at him a moment, before he was out of sight, behind her.
She heard nothing, and just felt the hard smack of his hand against her behind. "Ah!!" She gasped. Given how sore her behind already was, his hand, was painful. He smacked her twice more, as she gasped, and whimpered, her knees feeling weak.
"Do you understand?" He asked again next to her ear, "Yes, Captain," she whined, with her lip starting to quiver. "Good," he lifted his head, "Turn around," he ordered.
"Now then, I'll leave you in here given the welts on your behind, I'll permit you to be in here, do I need to tie your wrists or not?" He asked rigidly. Her behind throbbed, and she fought to keep her bottom lip still, as her eyes became foggy with tears.
He tilted his head pressing for her answer, "I'll lock this door, but you'll at least be somewhat comfortable, will you behave?" he enunciated aggressively.
"Yes, Sir, I'll behave," She nodded and promised him with a nod. "Good girl," a side smile displayed on his face and he headed out of the room, first taking the extra sword and her bow and arrow, just in case.
He locked the door, and listened against it a moment. Regina couldn't help but release a soft cry, she didn't understand what was happening at all.
Killian stood there a moment listening once again to her soft cry, he sighed, and forced himself to walk away.
He brooded up on the deck, fiddling his fingers and thoughts in his head. (see GIF at top)
